I REALLY hate when people lie. Honestly, why bother saying anything to me if you don't even mean it? It's super annoying.
Now I can't trust anything that you say, all because you lied to me once. How can I know that I can ever trust you again? Seriously, it's not an easy task for me to trust someone. My trust has to be earned, not bought. And if you lie to me, that fragile line of trust is just fractured right in half.
I don't care if you 'only lied because you wanted to pretend you had something in common with me' or 'you were trying to impress me' or 'you didn't want to hurt my feelings', or 'you just wanted to hang out with me'.
Flattery will get you no where.
Even if I am really awesome ;)
