The luggage was already in the hallway filled with your clothes and just about everything you brought from home. Your grandmother calls your name to tell you that Asahi was already here. You looked back at the room and smiled. "I'm gonna miss you guys." You say hugging and kissing your grandparents on the cheek. "We'll see you at thanksgiving! Oh and tell Asahi we said hi!" Your grandpa says. You nod and walk outside, waving to Asahi who was just getting out the car. "Hey!" He said hugging you tightly. He takes your luggage. "I'll put this in the trunk." You sat in the front seat and he gets in and drives off. "Mom and dad couldn't make it huh." You say looking out the window. "Yeah they had a business meeting, but I'm here! Wanna grab some food?" He smiled waiting for your response. "Nah, grandma and grandpa already fed me before I left, you know them, can never leave that house on an empty stomach!" You both laughed. "Oh! Did my uniform come in yet?" You asked excitedly. "Oh um no, but it'll probably get to the house in the morning." Once he pulled up to the driveway, he took out your luggage and brought it inside. "Thanks." You said taking your stuff up to your room. "No problem!" He shouts as you go you headed upstairs to your room. When you walked in, it felt as if you never left. You bed was still made, the desk in your room was cleaned and organized. You roll your luggage in front of your closet and lay on your bed. You missed being home so much.
After you unpacked all your things, Asahi called down the stairs and said he was making dinner. You shouted back "Thanks!" and went on your phone. After about 30 minutes, Asahi called you down to eat. "Is mom and dad coming?" You asked as you sat down. He sighs and says "They're stuck in traffic but they should be here in an hour." The rest of dinner you talked about your grandparents house and how school was over there and then Asahi shared his school memories. "Wait, Asahi you're a senior now right? A third year?" You ask. He nods. "Yeah, my last year at school and playing volleyball." You decided to change the topic of him realizing it's his last year by talking about your first day tomorrow. "So tomorrows the first day, anything I should know? Like tips and stuff?" He tried to think of anything you should know. "Well, I suggest join a club since I'll be at volleyball unless you wanna be home alone till I get home. You don't mind being home alone but you were interested In seeing him play. "Can I watch you play tomorrow?" You asked with a smile on your face. "Yeah sure." Once both of you were finished eating, you washed the dishes. You heard your parents pull up in the driveway. They opened the door and you popped up and said "Surprise!". Your parents smiled. "Hey sweetie!" Your mom saying pulling you in for a hug. "Hey, it's my turn for a hug." Your dad said opening his arms wide so you can hug him. You squeezed him tight then let him go. "Did you both eat already?" Your mom asked. You nodded and went up the stairs. After your parents ate, they went upstairs and your mother knocked on your door. "Hey sweetie this was out in the front door, it's your uniform!" You jumped off your bed excitedly and opened the bag. "Thanks for bringing it in!" She smiled at you in awe. ""Wow I haven't seen you excited for school in forever." You put your uniform on your desk. "Whenever me and Asahi talked on the phone he would basically brag about his school and how much better it is then the one I attended as a 1st year." She kisses your forehead. "Well I'm glad you're excited. Now go to bed! You already had your bag packed and ready for tomorrow.
