Big Changes

The next morning, as usual you beat the shit out of your alarm clock and get dressed for school. You wait outside for Asahi while he gets 2 pieces of toast for you and him. "Here." "Thanks." I heard you down stairs last night. What were you doing?" "I was re bandaging my bullet wound." "Were you picking at the scab?" "...Maybe." "You know it's gonna leave a mark if you keep doing that." "Yeah I know." You walk into school and everything just seemed different. People were whispering with each other and pointing at you and Asahi. You roll your eyes and walk to class. As you walk into class the same thing happened. Your sensei put their hand on your shoulder and said, "If you don't feel ok you can just take a nap and rest up." "Uhh ok?" You walk to your desk and girl behind you taps on your shoulder. "Hey uh if you wanna talk about what happened I here ok?" "Ok?" "Why is everyone acting like this?"
~~~TIME SKIP TO LUNCH~~~ You sat next to Nishinoya and the team mates and started eating your lunch. "Do you guys know why everyone keeps acting weird. Like saying I can talk to them or I don't have to do work if don't feel well?" You said. "I don't know but people are doing that to me too!" Said Noya acting adorable as always. Asahi nodded his head in agreement. Suga sighs. "You were on the News last night and now everyone in the school knows what happened. Including what happened to Noya, Asahi, and coach Ukai." "But I still don't get why they have to treat me like that." "Oh and everyone knows your dating Noya." Hinata blurted out. "WhAt?" It's not like you were trying to keep it a secret from everyone else but now that the whole school knows people will just constantly talk about it. "Why are you surprised?" "Well I just hate the fact that everyone is paying attention to me like I'm the most popular girl in school or something." after lunch, you went to your locker to get you afternoon textbooks, when you noticed that your locker was covered in wrapping paper and notes that said, "Stay positive!" "You got this!" "You have friends all around!" You got your text books and left. But you couldn't help but smile. "Come on! You can't just not smile at that! People took their time because they care about you! Maybe people acting like this is a nice thing."  An announcement went off during class, "Will (y/n) please come down to the main office." You walked into the principal's office and sat down. "After what happened to you the school was deciding that we should have an assembly for you and your friends that went to save you in the incident." "Wow that's uh very nice of you but I-I can't. Don't you think it's a little too much?" "We're here to support you (y/n). So is that a yes?" "I really don't want to-" "Please!?" "Ok?" "Yes!" You left his office and in the hallway you saw Nishinoya. "Noya!" He hugs you. "Oi what's up?" "The principal wants to make an assembly about the incident can you believe that." You said in a annoyed tone. "They're taking this whole thing way too far." "I know right!" "Well I gotta go to class. see ya later (y/n) chan."
~~~TIME SKIP TO VB PRACTICE~~~ All the boys were there practicing and you sat on the bleacher with Kiyoko and Yachi. "Where's coach Ukai? He's never this late." You said with a puzzled look on your face. "Maybe there's traffic getting here?" Said Yachi. Takade Sensei burst through the gym doors panting. Everyone just stopped and looked at him. "Gather around, there's something I need to tell you." Everyone joins in a circle around him sitting down. "Because of the incident, coach Ukai..." "DIED?!" Yelled Hinata in the back. "No, no, no!" "He got fired." "WHAT!?" "But why?" Kagayama asked. "Since he brought everyone into the bus to help (y/n), the school thought he was putting you guys in danger and that's why they fired him." "So who's gonna coach us?" Said Daichi. "If they can't find a replacement coach soon the boys' volleyball team will be canceled. So that means no more volleyball."  Everyone was devastated and had to leave home early. There would be no more volleyball practice until they found a replacement coach. As Nishinoya was packing up his stuff you went over to him. "I told you...this is my fault!" You said tears dripping down your face "Hey. Didn't I told you not to blame yourself?" "Then who's to blame?" "Coach Ukai wanted to help find you and so did everyone else. So it's no one's fault. Ok?" You wiped your tears. "We have to get coach Ukai back." You said. "I think I know where to find him." Said Noya. "What are we planning over here huh?" Said Suga. "We're trying to get coach Ukai back." "Oh cool! I' in!" Suga smiled. "I'm in too!" Said Daichi. "Ok so where do we find him Nishinoya?" You said. "Meet up at the market. You know the one a few blocks away from the school." "Got it!" As you were walking home with Asahi, you told him you wanted to get coach Ukai back. "Even if you do get him back the school's not gonna let him back as a coach." "Then we'll just have to convince the school to let him back." You saw Nishinoya, Suga, and Daichi outside the market. "why did we meet here?" You said. "Because Ukai works here sometimes." Nishinoya answered. You 4 went inside and headed to the counter. There was an old lady at the counter who smiled sweetly. "You're the girl on the news right?" "Yeah, Anyways I have a question. Does a man named Ukai work here?"
(Wowie what a cliff hanger! Hi guys! Any of you surprised? I thought it would be more interesting if I put something intense after the last chapter. (The one before "Safe") I'm sorry if I didn't update in a while; finials are kicking my ass right now. I actually just got home from my Science finial which I definitely failed. Tomorrow is my Spanish finial and I'm gonna get a negative zero on that one. Since I've been giving you the most emotional/devastating/heartbreaking chapters, I will make a special one with happy feelings as a treat. (Or maybe I'm lying to you and I'll make someone go missing? Or even worse die? *evil laugh*) Well I gotta go make the next chapter! Penguingirl is ouuuuuuut! Byeeeeeeeee)
