Daddy Issues

You heard your mother looking for you so you took a deep breath and went downstairs with a smile. Breakfast was so delicious, and it seemed everyone else was enjoying it too. As it started to get late in the afternoon, your cousins were starting to leave and once they all left, your mother said she wanted to talk to you with your father. She told Asahi that they wanted to talk to you in private so he went upstairs. Your mother and father sat at the kitchen table across from you. It felt like one of those moments where your parents were pissed at you or needed to tell you someone has died. However, neither of those were the case. "I know your mother told you what we do for a living and I want to know your thoughts on that." Your father said. In your head you were pissed at him but you didn't want to show him because he would do something stupid. "I don't know it seems like that's not really you guys. I didn't expect you guys to be in that sort of business." You said avoiding eye contact with him. "Did your mother explain why it's important for you to marry him?" He ask. "Yeah but I'm not marry him and that's final." You said with sass. "(y/n) that's completely selfish! You rather not try to get to know him even though your mother and I will be killed?!" He said slamming his hand down at the table. "He drugged me and almost raped me! Is that really not enough reason for me not to marry him!?" You said as you bolted out of your chair. "Sweetie please quite down." You mother said. You knew if Asahi heard this it will make things worse. "I'm not marrying him ok! We're done. Better yet I'll move back in with Grandma and Grandpa!" You ran upstairs. Everything is somehow worse than ever. You really didn't want to leave home because you'll miss everyone but you were not going to marry that freak. You cried yourself to sleep but it turned into a nap rather than a deep sleep. 

Your mother touched your father's hand softly. "Please give her time to adjust. She has the right to be upset." She said looking up at him. He pulled his hand away. "I already promised him that we would go to dinner with him and his son." He said in shame. "When?" She sighed. "This Saturday." (Today is Thursday) "What are we going to tell Asahi?" She asked. "We won't tell him. We'll come up with something. But (y/n) has to go to this dinner." He said. Your mother left to go check on you. She opened the door and saw you sleeping. A quiet smile was placed on her face. She sat on your bed and played with your hair. You rubbed your eyes and saw your mother sitting there. "Sweetie I know your upset but I wanted to talk to you personally." You sat up. "Is this about Akuno?" You asked. "Well we have to go to dinner with his family this Saturday." You groan. "I know honey, but you have to go." She played with your hair again. "Don't leave me in a room with him." You said. "I won't my love. I promise I won't let him touch a hair on your head." She kissed your forehead and left. You called Noya. "Hey, What's up?" He answered. "I'm just bored. You doing anything interesting?" "We'll if you think playing my new video game is interesting, then yeah." He laughed and you giggled. "Well it beats being here bored to death. My cousins left and it's way too quiet here." you said. "My cousins left too. My mom is out cold in her room so it's pretty lonely here." "Could I come over?" You asked. "Yeah! We could play the game together!" "Alright, I'll see in like 10 minutes." You both hung up and you looked out the window making sure the ladder was there. You quietly opened the window and headed over to Noya's house. You knocked on his door and he opened in the with a big grin on his face. He was wearing navy blue sweatpants and a white t-shirt. You didn'the have a jacket when you left the house so you were freezing. "Here, take this." He hands you a blanket and you both sit on the floor together. You take a controller and begin together play, the game was self explanitory. Just fight until someone runs out of health. You were laughing and playing together and he pauses this he game to grab a snack. "Do you want?" Noya asked holding up a cookie. "I uh nah I'm good." You replied. "Hmm. What aren't you telling me? " he asked getting closer to your face. "I um, my parents told me something that changes everything for us." You put your hand on his  and he put on his most concerned look. "What did they say?" You explained him the story and he reacted the same way you did. "You can't marry him! What the hell is wrong with your dad!" "I know right? He'said so...I can't even find the word I'm looking for to describe him!" "Corrupted?" "Yes! He's corrupted!" You both then ended up lying on the floor staring at the ceiling. You both couldn't explain it but lying down together, looking up at the ceiling or sky just made you both calm. "I really hate him." You sighed. "Akuno or your dad." He asked, you laughed. "Honestly, right about now, both." "Well I think they should just get new jobs." He replied. "That's what I said but my parents were giving me excuses on why they couldn't." He sat up signaling you to do the same. "Just know that I'll love you more than anybody else can." Nishinoya made a soft smile and kissed you on the cheek. Your phone went off and it was your mother. "Sweetie are you at Noya's?" "Yeah." "OK well come home before six ok?" "Alright, bye I love you." "Love you too." You ended the call. You would have to leave in 2 hours so you tried to enjoy this moment with Noya. "I gotta leave in like two hours." "Do you wanna watch a movie?" He asked. You nodded and you laid on his chest on his couch. He played whatever movie was on and you snuggled up with him. "I love you Noya." "I love you too (y/n)."
