Underlying Worries

"I don't know where you get your energy, we literally stood up till four am." You said. "Well I slept in my study hall period, I slept like a baby." He said. "That's only like 45 minutes!" You said. "I never really need a lot of sleep." He said. "When's your mom coming home?" "Not sure, but she'll love to see you when she comes home." "How much homework you got?" "Just four subjects, I already did two of them during lunch." "I have nothing, since I was out the rest of the day." You said brushing your fingers through his hair. He sat up and looked at you. "Your fingers are shaking. You ok?" You looked at your hands. "I'm just nervous. I don't want him dying because of me." He held you in his arms. "I think the hospital will take care of him." He said brushing his fingers through your hair now. "He's in the best place he can be right now." He said. You sighed heavily. "I'm sorry about worrying." You said, he kissed your forehead. "Hey didn't we agree that nothing is your fault?!" He said smiling. You smiled back at Noya. The door opened and His mother was carrying groceries. "Hey you two! Can I get some help?" She said smiling. You and Noya head over to her car and take out the rest of the groceries. "Thank you! So (y/n) will you be staying for dinner?" She asked as she prepared for dinner. "I'm not sure yet, I'll ask my parents." You said texting your mom. "I hope you do stay. I'm making Noya's favorite!" She smiled. You smiled back and looked at your texts.
Mom: Hey sweetie! We just got home, we're ordering pizza. Asahi told me you went to Noya's.
(Y/n): yeah I'm still here, his mom is making dinner so im gonna eat dinner here.
Mom: k np! Just don't stay too late you still have school.
(Y/n): I'll be home before it's late. Ily
Mom: I love you too!❤️
"I'll be staying." You said. "Oh good!" She hugged you. "Noya did you do your homework?!" She asked putting away the groceries. "I only have a few subjects left!" He shouted from the living room. "Does he?" She whispered to you. "Yeah he told me he did the other subjects during lunch and free periods." "Ok good. I don't want him missing any homework's this year." "So, how are you doing? I haven't seen you in a while because I've been getting out of work so late." She said. "I'm good, Noya told me you work night shifts." "Yeah it's not the best job in the world but I make do for the both of us." She said getting out the ingredients. "My parents work late too, but I have Asahi with me so I'm not so lonely." "Nishinoya is best friends with your brother, Noya wouldn't join the volleyball team if your brother wasn't on it." You giggled. "Really? I thought Tanaka and him were closer." You said. "They are but Asahi just motivated Noya." "I could never see my brother as the motivational type." She laughed in your response and you smiled. Nishinoya's mom was really fun to talk with. She's like a cool aunt or older sister that you would tell them everything. "How are you both doing?" She asked. "My family and I?" You asked. She laughed. "No, you and Noya." She smirked. "We're good." You giggled. "He's asking for consent, and not forcing you to do anything right?" She asked. You giggled before answering. "Yes, he isn't forcing me to do anything I don't want to." "I'm only asking because I want to know that my son is treating girls like you properly." She smiled. You smiled back at her.
~~~NOYA'S POV~~~ When my mom came home (y/n) offered to help her with dinner. I went upstairs to finish up some homework. I felt terrible that (y/n) thought that this was her fault. I wish she knew that none of it is. I walked downstairs to check on her and I heard them laughing and saw them smiling. I'm glad she feels better now. I smiled at her. She's so affectionate and sweet yet she's also badass and sexy. I love everything about her. From the way she laughs to the way she moans my name softly. I walk into the kitchen. "The food ready?" I asked. "No, but you should help I'm too tired." My mom said walking over to the living room. I went over and helped (y/n). "Do you know how to make this?" She asked. "What? Of course I know how!" I laughed and she giggled back. Her giggling is so cute. I kissed her cheek and she blushed at me. "I love you." I whispered. She whispered back, "I love you too." We finished cooking and by that time my mother was already sleeping on the couch. I laid a blanket over her and (y/n) and I ate together. "This is amazing!" I said. She smiled at me and said thank you. We put the plates in the sink and went up to my room. "Finished your homework?" She asked as she jumped onto my bed. "Yeah. Which means...we could do something together~" I said as I got on the bed. She smirked at me and I did it right back. "Let me check the time." She said looking through her phone. "We're good, I'll go home in like 20 minutes." She said putting her phone to the side. She kissed me and I bit her lip asking for an entrance. We made out for a while and pinned her on the bed. She pulled off my shirt and she took hers off. "You know I love you right?" I said. "Yes, and do you know that I love you?" She asked, her fingers running down my body. "Yes." I smirked and kissed her neck. Her phone rang and I got off her so she could answer the phone. She got off the bed and talked on the phone. When she got off she put her shirt back on. "I have to go home now." "What? I thought we had more time." I said pouting and putting on my shirt too. "I thought so too but my mom called saying I need to go home because it's getting dark." You went downstairs and grabbed your things. "Can I walk you home?" I asked putting on a jacket. She smiled and nodded.
