~~~BACK TO LUNCH~~~ The volleyball boys were eating and talking as usual until Hinata noticed that you weren't there. "Where's (y/n) chan?" "Oh she went to the principal's office to try to get Ukai to coach for us again." Nishinoya replied. Kageyama almost spit out his water. "What!? Why does she get to convince him?" "Because, (y/n) feels responsible for getting him fired so she wanted to help Ukai get his old job back." Said Suga. "Well I'm gonna go convince them too!" Said Kageyama. The rest of the team followed Kageyama to the principal's office.
~~~IN THE OFFICE~~~ "Please sir! He saved my life!" "I don't care! Now get out of my office!" "I will not leave until you hire him!" "Fine then I'll call security!" "If you do that then I won't be apart of the assembly!" "Fine then I'll make your other friends do it." "(Y/n) just stop. It's clear that I'm not gonna coach anymore. You did your best kid but, it's not happening." Ukai said with a faint smile. The boys ran to his office and burst through the door. "You've got to be kidding me." Said the principal rolling his eyes. "(Y/n) has he considered hiring him yet?" Said Noya. "Nope." "Alright then, steep aside, I got this." Said Tanaka whipping out his phone. "Look, if you don't hire Ukai, these photos might get out to everyone in the school." Tanaka flipped through the photos of when the principal's wig off. "You wouldn't dare..." "Actually, I would. I got a buddy in the news club who needs a new headline for the school paper. Just think of it, 'The Principal's Secret Wig?' The kids in school would go nuts." The principal gave Tanaka a dirty look and sighed heavily. "Alright! I'll hire him back but I can't pay him." "Why not?" Said Hinata. "If the school board finds out I hired him back I could be the next one fired." "Well I'll still have to work at the convenience store just to make some money but at least I still get to coach you guys." Said Ukai smiling. Everyone jumped onto Ukai and smiled. "So uhhhh do I just leave?" Said Acer. "Yeah sorry." Acer left the room and the principal looked at everyone in disgust. "Why are you guys still here? Out, out, out!" Everyone walked towards the gym all joyful and excited. You held Nishinoya's hand and smiled. "I told you I could do it." "Who said I doubted you?" Nishinoya said playfully. The boys went to changed and you sat with Kiyoko and Yachi but an announcement went off. "May all the student report to the gymnasium for a quick assembly." "Wait. I thought the assembly thing wasn't gonna happen?" Student stared to pile up on the bleachers and you started having an anxiety attack. "What am I gonna say?" "Everyone's gonna be looking at me." "They're all gonna laugh at me!" Nishinoya put his hand on your shoulder and you turned around. "Oi what's going on?" "The principal is still gonna have the assembly!" You replied anxiously. "What's there to worry about? If anybody makes fun of you, I'll take care off them." He kissed you on your forehead and you smiled. "Noya you're such a dork." You said playfully. Noya smiles and sits next to you on the bleachers. The rest of the team also sat on the bleachers. The principal walked to the middle of the gym and started apologizing about how the assembly was gonna be a little past the time the students usually leave school. "I know that all of you are wondering what assembly is so important that you need to stay in school longer, Well this assembly is about a incident that happened a few days ago. I'm sure many of you know what I'm talking about. One of our students was kidnaped and drugged by fellow 3rd years who are now in jail. The reason I wanted to have this assembly was to make sure that the same incident doesn't happen again. So, I will (y/n) please come down here." You walked down to the middle of the gym and the crowd started to whisper. "The school will now have detectors for any kind of weapons or drugs. We will also have security guards everywhere around the school after school and during school." "Why am I even up here? It's not like anyone doesn't know what happened." The principal kept talking about how he will improve the school's security and how he'll make the school safer. You on the other hand, just stood there next to him awkwardly with no expression on your face. Finally, it was all over and the students started leaving the gym and the principal left as well. You ran over to Noya and hugged him. "To be honest, that whole assembly was stupid. Like he could of just sent a letter to the students or just email them." "Yeah you're right. Why did he call you down anyway? He didn't even let you talk at all." "I know right? But I didn't have anything to say about it. Plus, I would have just stayed quiet even if I did have something to say." "(Y/n)! Come on we gotta go home." Said Asahi waiting by the back door. "Wait But, what about practice?" "We missed it cause of that dumb assembly." "Was it that long? Wow..." "I already texted mom that there was an assembly and that's why we're gonna be home a little past usual." "Can we wait for Noya?" You said with puppy dog eyes. "Noya told me he's going to Tanaka's house." "Oh ok." "So...What are you getting Noya for his birthday?" "What?" "Noya's birthday is coming up soon. You didn't know?" "No! He never told me!" "It's October 10th and don't forget it. You have a week before his birthday." "What should I get him though?" "I don't know, you're the girlfriend."
