Things seem impossible til they're done,
It's hard to remember how it begun,
Yet, only the process is what scares us all,
Deadlines, and daily tests, reassuring your downfall,
Whether the tests are literal or life-based,
It's good to remember the small important things, just in case,
Because knowing, helps decipher the illusions you face,
Working hard, yet for nothing it seems,
The satisfaction slowly fades, even though you went to extremes,
Even though it's already over, something else needs to be completed,
That same mistake, keeps getting repeated,
Everyone thinks in the literal sense,
Still missing the picture that's so immense,
Guess things never change, because we're so dense,
But here I am, seeing it all,
It's too much, I'm gonna break, I'm gonna fall,
Seeing every little thing, hearing every word,
My own morals getting suddenly blurred,
Wondering how no one else heard,
Not knowing what's wrong or right,
Still constantly never giving up that fight,
Hoping everything will work out, be alright,
But still not using the proper sight,
I may not see or hear it all, but I see and hear more than most,
I'm not saying this just to boast,
I just want you to listen, and see through the lies,
That has tremendously plastered your full eyes,
It's been there through our whole lives,
But some will soon, come to realize,
As I did, knowing, nothing, is truly good in the world,
No matter how selfless, our perception has unfurled,
We see what we want, thinking it's good,
We just peek a little, under the hood,
But anything we do, could never be great,
Emotions rule us, things can turn to hate,
The emotions lure us, using us as bait,
But we don't really stop, never to wait,
Granted it's a human's regular function,
But we are flawed, so what if it's a malfunction?
It's great to feel, but- typically not,
We never know what life has brought,
That's why we're constantly curious, anything that has been sought,
Needing the info, knowing- it's what we want,
Needing everything in place, so we know what we can flaunt,
Because everything is image, people are so judgmental,
Things are harshly said, and people go mental,
People need to learn to be gentle,
Everyone is fragile, but yet so strongly bold,
So throwing it back, never minding what you're told,
Seems to me it never gets old,
But everyone has emotions,
Some small on the outside, others, grand as oceans,
So why don't people think for once, put it in motion,
Stop creating commotions,
Because it's grand now, until someone takes off the blindfold,
And you're going to be the one left in the cold,
It's not good when it's thrown back is it?
So you better be nice or I'll pay you a visit,
You scoff at what you think will happen, knowing something will help you,
But relying on things that aren't guaranteed, is a really stupid thing to do,
Knowledge has power, oh so true,
Knowing an important thing to someone, is a dangerous thing to keep,
But knowing those things that could destroy someone, it's kind of hard to sleep
It's a very big burden, but you said that you would swear,
Not to tell, so they couldn't go through more hell,
But since no one ever listens, you said, oh well,
They'll be fine, as long as I get what's mine,
What do you get? What exactly?
Severing a bond that was so compact,
Now we all see, it was all just an act,
But here's the thing, did you tell the other what you hold secret?
Do you really think now the other will keep it?
It's a dangerous game knowing information on others,
That's why you have to make sure no one utters,
So, now you see all the possibilities, and what talking can do,
Why people don't open up,the common question we all ask is,
What kind of person are you?
Knowledge and trust, are hard things to come by, so what are you willing to lose if you break it? Knowing what the other person is going through..
