She had yet, one picture,
In a world of white,
It addled her brain more so,
Because of the never-ending oblivion that was void of anything different,
The absence of color, shows more of the unimportance of her surroundings..
She would stare at it and hope the colors would burst out of the frame to color this blank paper that surrounded her daily,
Still, she was oblivious to the fact that, white is the combination of all colors, she just had to touch it and it would ripple anew,
She was afraid of change,
She was afraid the blank oblivion would suck her up and bring her somewhere else,
She got used to the nothing that was her world,
She would aimlessly walk until she spotted faint lines that might be considered walls and walk the other way,
She did not know where she was,
Why she was there,
She could not recall anything or of who she was,
If she did, I'm afraid she would have stayed in the oblivion she's been in for months,
Never touching anything, hoping to never go back,
But she's oblivious to the fact that she loved colors, and colors were at her command,
While aimlessly walking around she wasn't as careful as usual,
She was too busy staring at the picture, hoping to know what it means,
But to any other eye the picture would be blank as well,
She didn't watch out for the faint grey line she thought resembled corners of walls,
But that got her thinking, and thinking results in suspicion, and curiosity,
Curious to know whether, how big was this world of her own?
Are there others? Is there a door?
If she got out of this what will happen?
She's practically almost to the wall, so deep in thought,
She bumps into the wall and a small circle of black ripples and disappears,
Shocked as she was she fell down, and barely recognizable, light purple ripples out beneath her,
She cannot move, only watch,
Afraid to do anything that involves a touch,
But she realizes her picture fell as well,
Into the ground seeming to be in water in the floor,
She couldn't just not have it,
Taking a deep breath she tried to grab it, but once she got it,
A fusion of color lit up the frame,
Exploded out, until nothing the same remained,
It painted vivid pictures, that came and went,
She didn't know what it was, while being utterly spent,
She hears a faint beeping, but heeds it no mind,
She seemed to be going through space and time,
Yet these flashing images are oddly familiar,
She saw green, that seemed peculiar,
She felt an intense love pull from her chest,
She did what she felt was best,
Running towards those green eyes,
Finally seeing through the lies,
The blank paper, so to speak, was yet a canvas of her mind,
Slowly feeling herself be intertwined,
She remembers who those green eyes belong to,
The beautiful boy, who disappeared,
She wanted to go with him, but he commandeered,
Yet it wasn't the way he talked or looked that she was drawn to,
It was his eyes, they looked so in pain when he had to leave,
Maybe she wrongfully perceived,
Alas she remembered, everything,
Knowing what waking up would bring,
But she had to in order to find,
The green eyes that plagued her mind,
Again, she was surrounded in white,
Scared for a moment but didn't think twice,
She heard the noisy machines, and some sniffling,
She opens her eyes,
She's confused for a moment but sees a woman that's familiar,
It clicks a second later,
Her mother sees, and gives her a hug,
Nothing needs to be said, and she wouldn't bug,
She got the doctors, and was diagnosed, perfectly fine,
But right then, she saw her mother weariness,
Told her to go home, straight to bed,
She put up a fight, but finally relented,
But that's when she realized, she still had to go search,
Search for the one that made her heart lurch,
She got a flicker of memory of a forest,
One surrounded in flowers, with a couple stumps as the chorus,
She found that her feet took her where she saw,
Seeming to know this path, for far too long,
Alas she made it, but no one was there,
Again the feeling of confusion, being lost and despair,
While she silently cried,
The green eyed figure silently spied,
He wanted to go over, but it could never be,
Bad things happen when people are with him, you see,
Yet it pulled at his own heart, to see her weep,
He couldn't take it anymore, he wanted her to be someone he could keep,
He slowly went over, making little noise,
Stepped on a branch, she turned her head poised,
Eyes widened in recognition,
She, so shocked she couldn't properly admission,
He said he would never see her again,
It can't happen, or it will be the end,
He said so many times before,
But she constantly implored,
He's here of his own free will,
A moment of silence everything still,
He then started to walk towards her again,
She sat there patiently waiting,
Waiting for what, she didn't know,
He closed the distance, the love in his eyes still showed,
With a slight pained expression he gave her a hug,
She immediately responded, holing him tight,
If he says she can't have him one more time, this time she will fight,
They sat in a comfortable silence, that they both secretly wanted to last forever,
He pulled away, but still she endeavored,
He gave her his famous line that would probably be the last time,
But she countered with her own thoughts, and her loneliness,
He seemed to be the one to digress,
Finally she realized, he's willing to put it to the test,
She crushes him to herself not caring at all,
Surprised as he was, they both fall,
He gives a short laugh and looks almost sad,
Until she realizes it's his way of being glad,
She kisses him with everything she has,
He responds slowly at first,
But it seems they both have a never-ending thirst,
It's been too long, clearly from their state,
But this just could not wait,
He ends it suddenly, looking around,
Then they hear pitter-patter sounds,
It's starting to rain,
Ah, the rain, they love it so,
They laugh like children, whilst running around,
This is what she was longing for, while she was being found,
The void filled,
But what has been spilled?
She feels something missing,
Oh, yes she was in an accident almost killed,
She starts to feel the drugs wearing off,
Body heavy, she falls off,
In and out of consciousnes, on the ground, groaning in pain,
When he comes over, not looking the same,
Whole body illuminating,
In a light sheen of green,
He comes right next to her,
She, awed by the beauty,
Doesn't notice the pain slipping away,
And they just lay hoping to just stay,
Stay that way forever or until the end of the day,
Both secretly wishing it wouldn't have to be this way,
So she asks him to come with her once more,
Conflicted he is, very much indeed,
But then he suddenly, tugs on her hand,
They're both bolting out of a forest, this mystical land,
He laughs but there is something wrong,
She can feel it as well, turning slowly,
Only to see a black beast growling lowly,
Its eyes flicker in recognition,
Getting to her, seems to be its mission,
But it's not for the hurting sort,
He's simply like a court,
A protector, just for her,
Clearly he knows nothing, of it,
She tugs back making him stop,
He gets in front of her from this thing,
She steps aside and it's head get closer,
He grimaced and backs up,
But she gives him a look,
She rubs it's snout, and just like that, he's under her hook,
It purrs, and purrs while he's without words,
She gets on the back, and signals him as well,
He gets on and her heart swells,
It's complete now, utterly complete,
They run through the forest, yet not on their feet,
Shs smiles and laughs, and forgets the ordinary world,
To them she's just a silly little girl,
Here she is something, to him at least,
Even this, beautiful beast,
They ride knowing they are free, (even if for the moment,)
And there's no other place she would ever want to be,

A/N: I have no idea what to call this it's like a free style short story poem, I don't really know but this was also last night but I added more to it. It rhymes a bit, so I tried but this is completely random. This is longest poem type thing I have done and it came out pretty well. Comment to tell me your thoughts, whoever is reading this. I do appreciate people telling me mistakes, I went over this quickly, but if you see an error, just tell me thanks. 🙄
-I edited again and saw a bunch of mistakes but I think I got them all. Tell me if not.
