I'm okay with wasting my time
Doing nothing
As long as you're with me
I'd rather have a lifetime of nothing with you
Than something by myself
That something is short lived
And easily forgotten
By those who truly matter
Those nothings of late night whispers
Watching shows for hours on end
Enjoying each other's company
Time is endless
When it's nothing with you
It feels like lifetimes go by
As we mindlessly cuddle closer
An occasional kiss
Smiles with laughter
That takes our breath away
Nothing is better than something
When I'm with you
And as the days go by in a similar trend
Time ticks by
We lay there
Sharing our days
Bickering over silly things
Eating snacks
Sharing warmth
Nothing is many things
These small moments define us
As we live another day
And I'd rather be remembered
By the way I looked at you
And you me
As we were the only two in the world
Who knew each other's pain
The way we did
The things we had to fight for
To get where we are
I don't care about
How much money we make
Our success to society
Or proving to the world our worth
Because you're worth everything to me
And your support is enough
You're there for me
When everything gets rough
I'll encase you in my memory
Bubble images of time
Floating through my brain
Because nothing is everything
And something isn't in my veins
