Just breathe, and maybe you'll feel alive
Breathe, please just breathe,
You have to survive
Open your eyes,
Open your lips,
Give the water a suffocating kiss
Look at the swirls and the light that reflects
Reflect on yourself
You know what's best
Watch as it bubbles,
When you struggle for air
The surface so close,
It's right there
Reach up, grab at nothing
Struggle for something
You lay there
Ever so still
Not hearing these little demands
So I'll help you out
Grabbing your hands
And yet you're heavy
I can't move you at all
You are stuck in a watery tomb
Up against the wall
I can't get to you
And I can't see you breath
I can't let you be
This cannot be your death
I want to get to you
Though I cannot move
I need to know you're still there
But there's nothing to prove
You lay there,
Floating
Sleeping so it seems
I grasp the edge of the tub
Looking at you
As your skin gleams
The watery sheen covering you
Makes you look so delicate
Your clothing, making it look like a simple accident
Your hair, erethral,
Around your head,
Oh,
How I wish,
It was me instead.
A/N: This is a poem from a while back I made from the photo above/side, which is from tumblr from a blog called recaption. It gave me a bunch of lines that made this and I figured I'd put it on here as an update because I like it a lot. My tumblr has a handful of these little poems that I might share on here as well with the pics that inspire them, with the source mentioned so they get credited for their content. Anyways I wasn't expecting to post so soon again but I had another sick day and I'm getting antsy with not doing much. I wrote a few poems in general during my complete disappearance for writing here on Wattpad, but I didn't think they were good enough to post. I might edit and/or finish them, post them on here so there's more content to read but depends if I have the time to do so, which I really don't and I'm procrastinating hard core. Well I guess possible little surprise updates might happen, we shall see.
Until then~~RDP~~
