It had been a month and 2 weeks since Peter left you; for none other than your best friend Liz Allan, at first you didn't understand why or how you hadn't noticed that Peter liked someone else, but after a while you finally understood what you were too dumb to see.

When he stopped looking at you with that spark in his eyes and that soft smile...

When he started avoiding you...

When he disappeared and left you alone at parties...

When he stopped worrying about you...

It was because he had been cheating on you with Liz for a while and you were too in love with him to even notice.

You'd cry yourself to sleep almost every night, remembering all the moments with him, the kisses, the promises, all the love; everything you did reminded you of Peter and all the loneliness and pain you felt when you saw him with Liz.

"I seriously can't stand them anymore M.J." You commented to your friend Michelle, she just gave you a sad smile; you started hanging out with her after you broke up with Peter; the thought of seeing him and talking to him everyday was too much for you.

You were both sitting on the  cafeteria and you had to witness Peter being all romantic with Liz; you weren't going to lie, he looked way happier with her than he ever did with you.

You had only been talking to Peter for three weeks but you knew you were already head over heels for him, you had a crush on him since Freshman year and you were very surprised when his best friend Ned told you it was mutual.

Your best friends Liz and Betty along with Ned had done everything in their power for you to talk to each other but both of you refused because of how shy you were, it was incredibly cute.

After weeks of Peter not talking to you, you decided it was time to make the first move and on a Thursday night with shaky hands you grabbed your phone and sent him a simple hello on Snapchat.

You were very surprised but at the same time you couldn't be more excited when you saw he had texted you back; that night you spent the night talking to Peter and felt you guys click instantly.

At that very moment you were both eating lunch in the cafeteria , talking about books, movies and music you both liked when Peter stood up and took your hand in his and helped you stand up too.

He never let you go as he guided you through the halls, taking you to the math classroom, "Have you ever watched that old movie Empire Strikes Back?"

"Yeah! It's probably one of my favorite movies ever!" You smiled at him, he finally let your hand go and you'd be lying if you said you weren't disappointed.

"Wait here for a moment, I'll be right back darling." You felt butterflies erupt in your stomach,  wasn't that big of a deal now that you thought about it.

He disappeared for a moment, leaving you standing in the hallway alone, you wondered how you had fallen for him so quickly, it was the first time you actually felt something so strong for someone.

Your back was facing the door so you didn't notice when Peter came out holding roses and chocolates, when he started talking was when you turned around, a gasp leaving your lips.

"I know we haven't been talking for too much but since I started talking to you things have changed; Y/N you're the prettiest girl I've ever laid my eyes upon and I'm well just me, it's probably way too soon and it's fine if you don't want to, but..." You saw as he got down in one knee, the hand in which he was holding the roses was shaking and tears were pooling in his eyes.

"Will you be my girlfriend?" He asked, his voice trembling slightly; you hugged him tightly and after pulling away you leaned in and kissed him with passion.

You sighed as you remembered that, you'd think about that moment all the time; you'd think about how happy and special you felt at that very moment and it made tears spill out of your eyes, just that very thought of Peter calling you beautiful and knowing it was a lie because if he had actually felt that he wouldn't have left you for her.

"So Y/N, about the dance... You sure you don't want to go?" She had been bugging you about the dance, Michelle insisted that you had to have some fun more often; after you broke up with Peter you'd spend your free time locked in your room, away from everyone and everything.

"I don't want to go, I'm better off at home, watching movies, that sounds way better." You told her, it was your usual response when she asked you about the dance.

Michelle looked at you with that mischievous grin and you instantly knew she had a very great idea or a horrible one.

"You're gorgeous Y/N, more than Liz, he's too dumb if he can't see that, trust me, when he looks at you tomorrow he'll want you back." Yeah a very bad idea.

You thought about it for a little, in all honesty it would be way better than staying at home by yourself.

It was Saturday night and you were dancing with Michelle and Ned, she ended up convincing you to go with them and it wasn't so bad after all.

You were wearing a lace peach dress that ended just a little bit over your knee, it was the dress you had bought for Homecomings before Peter broke up with you, your hair was curled up in a bun,  a few strands falling out framing your face.

You looked wonderful and everyone seemed to notice; Peter couldn't keep his eyes away from you, he truly missed you, he knew you better than anyone and even after not talking to you in so long he still remembered every single thing from the first thing he told you to how you liked your food or how you'd ramble when you were anxious.

Peter was in a lot of pain, probably even worse than yours, he loved you so much to the point where you were an addiction to him, but, what broke him the most was seeing you suffer and not being able to explain things to you.

It all happened when he was on night patrol as Spider-Man; he had just returned from the trip to Germany, he was fighting against a guy he had never seen before, the guy almost killed Peter that night; he was pinned against the wall, a hand wrapped tightly around his neck when the man yanked off Peter's mask, revealing his identity, he let him go after that and Peter thought it was over.

However, it was far from over; the man had been watching Peter and he couldn't help but notice you too, he used that against Peter and in Peter's eyes your safety was always first so after breaking up with you he distanced himself completely.

Everyday that passed, he couldn't help but imagine the day he'd have you back in his arms again...

This is kinda crappy, I'm so sorry.

Guess who failed math? Yeah! Me!

I'm gonna be so grounded when my parents see my report card, hopefully my other grades aren't as bad.
