The red-haired guy that had knocked you down just minutes earlier apologised a thousand times as he helped you get back on your two feet. He walked away quite quickly though, not really paying as much attention.
You frowned as you looked down at your dress, which now had a wet patch on it from getting your drink spilt all over you. A sigh escaped your lips as you left the now empty cup on the coffee table of Haz's living room.
You had been to Harrison's apartment before, he was your best friend after all. You were surprised by the way the young man had decorated the apartment. He clearly had good taste. You guided yourself upstairs to a bathroom.
You knocked on the door of the closest bathroom after trying to open it up to discover it was locked, "Occupied!" A male voice yelled from behind the door, you sighed once again, but just stood against the wall, waiting for the person to come out.
A smile made its way to your lips when you saw the picture that hung on the wall opposite you. It was a picture of Haz, Tom and you from when the three of you were still inseparable. Before all the shit between Tom and you went down.
The door of the bathroom finally swung open, you sighed in relief. You only wanted to clean up your dress and go home. A pair of brown eyes met your (y/e/c) ones and you just felt your body freeze. Tears pooled in your eyes as you examined his face.
He had changed quite a bit. The mole on his chin was now gone, his jaw was sharper and his hair longer, he was a lot bulkier as well.
"Y-Y/N." Tom's eyes still had that shine in them when he said your name and it just sounded so soothing as it softly rolled off his tongue. However, you couldn't stop thinking about how the last time he had said your name, his tone had been laced with venom, ready to poison and kill.
You swallowed and nodded softly, "Yeah, it's me."
"Look at you! You've changed so much my love, you look stunning." The brown-eyed boy smiled sweetly at you, now that he had you just mere meters away he knew how much he had missed your presence and just you in general.
"I appreciate the compliment but please don't call me that." The bright smile fell as the words came out of your lips. You slid past him and walked to the bathroom, but before you could actually step a foot into there he dragged you back softly. You didn't even bother putting resistance.
The tension was thick, could be cut by a knife. There was a stinging silence between you, only the sound of the music from downstairs being heard. "I'm just sorry. I regret all that shit I seriously do."
"Seriously doesn't seem like it, you called me a fucking bitch! Totally used all my fucking insecurities that only you knew against me!" Your voice got higher and higher in volume as each word left your mouth.
"Oh! Like you are far behind Y/N, you have no right to be mad at me." He remained calm as he spoke, which surprised you quite a lot after the way he had gone off last time you had argued about something.
"I have a right to be angry! As angry as I want. Don't you realise how much I needed you and how much I missed you and cried for you?!" Tears were now freely running down your cheeks. The sight broke Tom's heart, you had always been delicate when it came to your feelings.
He was left speechless in front of you. Hell, of course, he knew how much you had cried for him because he had cried just as much for you. Before he could respond, however, you were already running down the stairs just wanting to get to your car and drive away. The memories of that fight you had with Tom seven years ago weren't the ones to fill your brain tho.
It had been a rainy afternoon. Your parents had gone out to buy groceries but you had stayed back. You had been in bed sick for a few days after catching a throat infection. The infection was starting to go away and you had started to feel better. But you wouldn't risk it.
So there you were just watching Harry Potter and eating sweets oh the living room. That's when you heard a few knocks on the door. You stood up from the couch after grabbing your phone.
You looked down at your phone to check the time while opening the door, twenty minutes had passed by since your parents left, so it was strange for them to be back so soon.
"Mom, I didn't realize y-" The words got caught in your throat mid-sentence when you saw who was standing on your doorstep.
Tom held a pretty basket and a bouquet of sunflowers and wore a bright smile. It had been a while since you had seen each other because he had gone on vacation with his brothers and then had to do press for In The Heart of the Sea.
You practically launched yourself into his arms after he put the basket down, you wrapped your legs around his waist and he held you tightly with his left arm. "Shit, I've missed you, Tommy! When did you get back? What are you doing here?
"Heard my favourite girl was sick." He laughed as you held him even tighter, you had refused to let go but eventually had to.
"My mum sent you some of that soup you liked and I baked you a few chocolate chip cookies." Tom gave you the basket which contained some of your favourite things to eat and drink along with some skin care products, which he knew you loved.
You spend that afternoon cuddling up in the couch watching movies together. That was the last day spent with Tom before your fight; before you stopped speaking to him.
