You groaned as you answered your physics homework, you were probably the worst in that subject; tears started to form as you kept answering, you didn't understand any of it and you were extremely sick and tired.
"Whatever, I'm so fucking done." You whispered at yourself as you stood up from your desk and made your way into the kitchen to prepare yourself something warm to drink.
You were singing to a song quietly as you made your way back to your room and walked out to your balcony, for you, there was nothing more mesmerizing than New York at night, you loved sitting outside for hours just reading or studying.
Exam season was coming up and you couldn't be more stressed about it, you hadn't been sleeping well because of how much time you'd spend revising everyday, your parent were very strict with school and you couldn't afford a bad grade.
You let out a frustrated scream, it wasn't something very loud, but it was loud enough to catch the attention of a certain hero in red and blue spandex.
Que quickly made his way to your apartment complex, looking for the source of the scream, however, all he found was his long time crush standing in her balcony.
You were oblivious to his presence until he made a small noise the moment his feet hit the ground, you turned around frantically, "I may not look intimidating, but I've watched way too much Supernatural to kick someone's ass."
Spider-Man let out a surprised chuckle at your words, walking out of the shadow so you could see him, making your mouth open in surprise, of course you'd say something like that to none other than Spider-Man.
"Don't worry darling, that's my job." He told you making you blush a dark red, he noticed you were frustrated for whatever reason and wanted to distract you from your worries
"You sound like a kid, I always thought Spider-Man would be an adult or something, wait... Don't tell me you're like 40." You mumbled the last part hoping he wouldn't hear, but of course he did.
"You said it yourself, I'm a kid, I promise I'm no older than 18." Spider-Man said, laughing a bit, making your lips curl up in a smile.
"Well, I'm happy to meet you, but I should head back inside." You told him as you started coughing again, the cold was clearly making you feel worse.
"Wait, I never heard your name." He told you, making you turn around just as you were about to go back inside.
"That's because I didn't tell you, my name's Y/N, see you around Spidey, have a goodnight." You left him standing outside for a few seconds as he watched you get inside your room.

It had been around a week since your last encounter with Spider-Man, you walked out of your balcony once again in hopes to see the masked hero, he really made you feel better that night, you thought he'd be cocky or something like that just because he was a superhero, but you guessed wrong. You had taken a book out with you this time, it was Percy Jackson and the Lighting Thief, your favourite book, you could read it over and over again and never get bored.
While you were reading, Spider-Man thought it'd be very funny to give you a scare, so he decided to hang upside down from the balcony right on top of yours.
You were engrossed in your book so you didn't notice him until a few seconds later when his face was right in front of yours, you didn't think twice before closing your book and hitting him in the head, making him let out a groan and fall.
"Oh my God, I'm so sorry, you scared me!" You exclaimed, the colour drained from your face, you quickly kneeled down next to him, you had just hit freaking Spider-Man.
"Oh, it's fine, I shouldn't have done that anyways." He mumbled with a laugh, in just two days of talking to you, he already thought that you were very special.
Spidey stood up and you did as well, quickly picking up your book and placing it on the chair you were sat on.
"I'm really sorry, I didn't mean to hit you like that." You apologized once again, blushing really hard, what you didn't know is that if the boy didn't have his mask on, you'd see he'd be the same shade of red as you.
You spent what felt like hours that night, talking about what you liked and didn't like, it might sound silly, but you felt something click between you even if you didn't know who the person under the mask was.
He visited you almost every night after that, he really liked talking to you, but he would never admit how he felt and neither would you, however, everything changed that one night when he finally told you.
"You know Y/N, you're the most interesting girl I've ever met." He told you, you only smiled at him not knowing what to say to him.
"I want to tell you who I really am, it's time for you to know." He sighed, you looked at him wide eyed, surprised that he wanted to tell you, however you didn't say anything, you just watched as he reached for the bottom of his mask and took it off.
Your Y/E/C eyes met his brown ones, your lips curved up in a smile as you looked at him, he had disheveled brown curly hair and a wonderful smile.
"I'm Peter." He told you shyly, he was even more handsome than you had imagined, you stared at him, smiling like an idiot, not caring if he was looking at you.
"Wait, I think I know you!" You exclaimed once everything clicked on your head, he went to a few classes with you, you had seen him before, "You go to Midtown!"
"Yeah, we have like 3 classes together." He told you with a small chuckle, you felt him get even closer to you than he already was, he cupped your face gently with his hands and slowly leaned in.
You didn't hesitate to lean in as well, closing the small gap between the two of you and letting your lips collide together, your stomach feeling just as if thousands of butterflies had escaped from a cage.
You pulled apart a few seconds later, the kiss being really short, "I've wanted to do that for a while now."
