"What is the name of the person you had your first kiss with?"

"Y/N, her name's Y/N."

You were surprised that Tom had agreed on watching 10 Things I Hate About You again. Maybe it was because you were a sad mess and he wanted to make you happy, or he just didn't mind. You were just 15 and too young to be crying over a guy, or at least Tom thought that.

"What happened anyway?" He asked curiously as he kept his arms tightly wrapped around you. Tom felt you mumble something against his chest, "What was that love? Can't hear you."

You shifted your position so you were sitting facing Tom on the bed. You could tell the young boy was worried. You would be too if you had just returned home after almost a month of press tours just to find your best friend crying.

"I feel so stupid! Shawn just leaned in for a kiss, but I just pushed him back before he could do anything, I don't know!" A frustrated sigh left your lips. You knew you were probably making the situation bigger than it actually was. You wiped the tears from your cheeks with Tom's black sweatshirt which you were wearing.

"Why didn't you kiss him back?" He looked at you with curious eyes, he thought you had had your first kiss before so he didn't see why you reacted that way.

"Well, I wanted to have my first kiss with someone that's actually special to me, y'know?" Tom's eyebrows furrowed in confusion but he nodded. He sat up and faced you.

"I thought you had your first kiss already." Tom responded and you sighed.

"I lied, never kissed Adam, just didn't want to tell you the truth, I mean, I'm 15 and I haven't kissed anyone, it's shitty." You admitted. You had been to embarrassed to admit you hadn't had your first kiss when he asked you about it months back, so you lied.

"I haven't had my first kiss either, you know? Nothing to be embarrassed about. Y/N you are my best friend, you can always tell me anything." You nodded, "I've wanted to have my first kiss with someone special as well."

Your eyes met his after a few seconds. You could tell just by looking at him that he wanted to tell you something, but he was still hesitating.

You hadn't noticed that it had started raining or that he had paused the movie until silence invaded the room. Tom focused his gaze on your bedroom window.

"You know I love you a lot, yeah? You are incredibly special to me and what I mean to say is that I'd love to have my first kiss with you." You smiled but kept quiet. You couldn't deny that you had always been told by your mother that Tom would be your first kiss.

You didn't like each other though, the two of you had cleared that up before and if he had suggested that it was just because of how much he trusted you and your close friendship.

A nod was all he needed to slowly lean a little bit closer to you, his hand cupped your red cheek, but your hands stayed stiff on your lap.

It was just a sweet peck on the lips, the two of you were timid that it would do something to your bond, but yet again you knew it was just unbreakable.

Once you pulled away, you took a moment to look at each other in the eye before you pulled him back in for a real kiss.

That kiss had brought the two of you significantly closer and it was never ever awkward between you. But at that very moment, the bridge between you couldn't have been longer.

Cassie stroked her cat Moonie while she looked at you lying down on the couch dozed off. You had been really distracted since she sent you the video.

Cassie had been watching Friends when you walked in and when you watched the familiar scene of Ross and Rachel kiss after the prom video, you just lied down and stopped talking.

She threw a red pillow across the coffee table at your direction. It hit you square in the face and you groaned.

"Cass! You just destroyed my train of thoughts." You complained to her. Moonie wasn't even faced as he kept his face burried in Cassie's chest. She pushed her glasses up the bridge of her nose, her grey eyes looking at you in an almost judgemental way.

"Are you still going to deny that Tom doesn't talk about you? I've heard him on the phone when I am talking to Haz. Both of you need to grow up and make up for some shitty mistake both of you made when you were teens." You sighed. You had always know Cass was right, you missed Tom like crazy, but still. You were too proud to apologise or do anything.

"He can't do this though! Just hurt me the way he did and then talk about me like he cares! Besides, if he talked about me it was for a stupid talk show!" You complained, finally scaring the innocent cat, who jumped off the couch and ran away.

At that moment you heard your phone vibrate against the glass coffee table. You picked it up to see a message from your friend Harrison.

Mate! We are having a party at my place in San Diego on Saturday! I'd love if you could join???!

"Is he going to be there?" You asked Cass first before even deciding if you were going or not. You knew Cass knew if her boyfriend's best friend would be there. After you introduced Cass to Harrison the two hit it off immediately and didn't take long to begin dating.

"Movie star's too busy filming for Spider-Man 3. You need to go!" She whined. Cassie wasn't exactly a fan of the party scene either, but when it came to Haz, she'd do anything to spend a little bit more time with him before he had to return back to work.

"I need to plan my classes and buy some stuff for the kids. I have no time Cay Cay." You replied, an obvious excuse. You were reluctant to even think about talking to the sweet brown eyed boy. You had finally moved on.

"Bullshit. I can assure you will be there."

"I will not."

-
You were there.

Your best friend could be incredibly perseverant when she wanted something. But she was just straight up manipulative and great at blackmailing when she wanted you to get out of the house.

She had even gone to look for all the supplies for your Monday class so you could not deny or have any other excuse.

You were just drinking some coke with rum although it was more like coke with just two drops of rum. Nor Haz or any of your friends bumped into you yet. You knew Haz and Cassie were probably too busy having sex on a bedroom so you didn't really bother to look for them.

Something you wouldn't admit though, was that you were looking for those soft brown eyes and pretty curls you had missed so much, but there weren't really that many people so it was obvious he wasn't there.

Suddenly someone had bumped into you, practically sent you flying to the floor, "Shit, I'm so sorry, I totally wasn't looking."
