Max x Reader

I made this, cause why not? Plus I don't really find x readers of Max, so why not show him some love, eh?

<~Your POV~>
I was working, as usual. I work at a local cafe/restaurant/whatever, having Max, my childhood bestfriend, as boss. I was surprised he actually owned this place but hey, at least I get to work with him.

I absolutely adore Max, as a best friend, and much more to be honest. I just recently found out that I may have grown feelings for my friend, but I can't tell him, this might ruin our friendship.

Today was like any other day, serve customers, take a break and eat, serve customers again and so on.

My shift was FAR from over. I was exhausted, but continued working, I like serving customers their food, their expressions always makes me happy. One more reason on why I love this job is cause uh yah.

"Oh Max, you don't need to be nervous, of course I'll go!" Holy shoot holy shoot Max just asked me out, oh my lordy, I can't even I thought as I felt a small blush creep onto my face. He smiles and said  "I'll pick you up 7, sound good?" "Max, you didn't even tell me where we're going" he blushed out of embarrassment and added "Oh, uh about that, maybe like a simple walk in the park? Or maybe even visit that new garden"

He rubbed the back of his neck and I smiled "Yah, sounds good" he smiles back and goes back to do his thing.

(Still your POV)
I walked out of my bedroom, all good and ready, I was wearing some pants, (F/C) hoodie,with a shirt underneath, and some (F/C) Sneakers. And a silver watch for accessories.

I tied my hair in a neat ponytail

I just brushed my hair and added some hair polish to make it put.

I sat on the couch, not even a second after, the door bell rang.

I groaned quietly and went to the door. I looked through the peephole and saw Max. I blushed a little and opened the door.

"Oh, hey Max!" I said, trying to be as enthusiastic as I could. "Oh, h-hey Y/N! Wow, you look good" he complimented. I smile "You don't look too bad yourself"

<~Your POV~>
Wondering what me and Max are doing right now? (Author Chan:You're making out? |Y/N:Da hell man?)
We were taking a stroll in the park, an awkward one,that is.

We just walked and walked and eventually someone had to break the silence.

"The stars are beautiful tonight" I said while looking up. "Yah, like you" I heard Max mumble, but I couldn't fully understand it. "What was that Max?" I asked

Max blushed and looked away "N-nothing!" I chuckled and we sat at a bench. "So, what are we gonna do next?" I asked, while turning my head towards him.

"Maybe go to the uh, what do you call this, garden?" He said while still looking up the stars. "Sounds good"

We both stood up and walked to the garden. It was a good 5 minute walk of me and Max joking and goofing around (Pun intended)

We eventually came to a stop and went in the garden. We took a stroll just admiring the flowers.

<~Max's POV~>
I really wanted to give Y/N something. And I figured, that there's a part in this garden where we could pick some flowers, without ruining the garden. I told Y/N I was going to the bathroom but I was really gonna go that part of the garden.

I reached there and searched for a (F/F), her favorite. I eventually found it, and picked it.

I went back, while hiding it behind my back. "Hey Y/N!" I said while smiling. "Oh heya Max, oh, whatchu got there?" She asked. I could feel anime sweat going down.

<~Y/N's POV~>
"Oh heya Max, oh, whatchu got there?" I asked out of lure curiosity. He nervously laughed then he practically shoved the thing in front of my face.

"I g-got this f-for you" he said while looking away blushing, I felt my face heat up and I looked to see it was a (F/F)! It was my favorite of favorites!

I smiled and gladly accepted the flower, trying my best not to let my inner fangirl out.

He looked at me, still red-faced, and smiled eventually.

"This was fun, say, let's go to that hill, its not that far from here. You know, the one with the big tree? We can end the night there." I suggested. He nodded and we exited the garden and went to the hill.

It was another 5 minute walk of jokes and puns.

We reached the hill and we were on the top. I was sitting down, cross legged, with Max sitting next to me, hugging his knees while looking at the stars.

There was just, silence. I was just enjoying the view, when he finally said something.

"I can't take it anymore, I can't keep it hidden forever. Y/N, I have something to confess" he said, while looking down with a face of a strawberry. He turned towards me, and rubbed his arm. "I-i-...... i-.... I HAVE A CRUSH ON YOU!"

I could feel my face heating up, my inner fangirl going wild, my stomach getting filled up with butterflies, my emotions getting mixed up, EVERYTHING!

"AND ITS OKAY IF YOU DON'T FEEL THE SAME!!!" He added.

<~Max's POV~>
"AND ITS OKAY IF YOU DON'T FEEL THE SAME!!!" She was just staring at me, not in a creepy way, but in a shocked way. I think I broke her

I gulped and looked away, completely embarrassed, I was expecting a scold or something or laughing but, instead I got a...... hug?

I looked to see Y/N hugging me "Finally you said it!" She said, happily "so does this mean you like me too?" I asked nervously "hehe of course I do!" She added.

I smiled with pure joy then she kissed my cheek. I blushed furiously, (Dangg you sure are putting a strawberry to shame. Okay I'll leave)

I looked at her and she gave me a closed eyed smiled. I then felt like I was leaning closer, I didn't know what was getting over me, but I then... locked my lips with hers.

She opened her eyes, she was blushing as much as I am, or maybe even more.

She melted into the kiss and we eventually pulled away.

She blinked a few times, trying to process what just happened, she smiled at me and snuggled into me.

"I-i-..... I love you Y/N" I said
"Love you too, Maxie!" She replied.

Annnndd I'm done! Yass! Anyways, thanks for reading this. I will now continue to make the behind the scenes considering I have ran out of ideas, again. But who cares, I'll make one soon eventually. Happy Reading!
