Pretty Young (I guess..?)! Mickey x Reader - I'm Coming

This was originally gonna be a song fic but since the last one was real horrible, I decided to change the idea.

Anyways, the song I was gonna originally use is named RIP by 3OH!3

So the story kinda follows on how I imagine the events to occur if that song was a music video that I directed.

And no, I haven't seen the music video or even know if it exists so yeah and another note, I'll be posting more Oswald, Mickey, and Felix x readers from now on. Dun worry.

Also, I'll be saying You if I'm referring to you.

And I just wanted to say...

Mickey remembered the days when you and him used to hang out.

His life was perfect. You were his world! No, scratch that, you were his universe!

You two were the bestest of friends. You were inseparable.

For Mickey, the town/city he and you used to live in was amazing.

But.

All of those things changed on the day when you packed up your bags, and you went away. (Yeah, this line's an actual part from the song.)

People have been telling Mickey on how you've changed. While him on the other hand, was always the same ol' classic Mickey

Mickey sighs as he remembers the day where he gave you your necklace that you cherish dearly.

And how he lost a game to you and he had to get a tattoo on his arm. It was bad but from his perspective, it was worth it.

For Mickey, nothing seemed to be the same in his town/city. For him, he looked at the once amazing and healthy green grass to be now dead and now had a dull shade of green.

And how he looked at the houses. Before, he thought of them as beautiful architectures that really gave their town/city that cheery vibe.

But now, he just looked at them as just normal houses. Or even broken down ones.

Mickey sighs deeply as he tries to count the bottles he have been drinking while spending his time in the bar.

It was giving him a headache. He couldn't count that much.

The lights at the sides of the road were now dimly lit. Only having faint light illuminate from em.

The owners were now kicking Mickey out for staying way too long. He checked the time and it was already a quarter past 3.

After a long walk home, he unlocks his apartment, and groggily walks in, shutting and locking it soon after, and he headed for his bedroom. Stopping by the doorway to try and regain his balance.

The first thing that catches his attention was a picture of you and him.

You two were happy. Very happy.

You had your signature close eyed smile as you had your arm around Mickey.

Mickey frowns as he doesn't bother changing and just flops onto his bed.

Crying himself to sleep.

He dreamt.

Mickey found himself watching you pack. From the looks of it, your were feeling very sad.

It broke his heart to see you gloomy like that.

You finished and sighed. You plastered a sad smile on your face as you look at yourself on the mirror.

Fidgeting with the necklace.

You nodded and got your bag. You walked out of your bedroom and went down the stairs.

You got out and smiled at your parents before heading in the car.

You passed by houses to say your final goodbyes.

Once you and your family were going past an oh so familiar house, the engine died down and you practically flew out.

The door busted open to reveal Mickey.

You tackled Mickey into a hug with him gladly accepting it.

You two broke the hug after what seems like forever and you kissed Mickey's cheek before going inside the car.

You waved one last final goodbye before the car drove off.

Mickey jolted up and he was breathing heavily.

He looks at his bedside table and looked at the picture. He smiled, determined and got up.

He started packing and he bought a ticket to wherever in the freaking world you are. For all he knows, you could be in the underground. Oh wait wrong fandom-

After some packing, he got his luggage, and everything else he needed and stood by the doorway.

He sent his bedside table a glance and sees the picture.

His eyes widened as he scrambles over to it and carefully stuff it into his bag.

He rushed downstairs and just grabbed a random toast that was randomly on his counter.

He decided to just try and visit you. Even if it was only for a day.

He got out of the building and called a cab.

Once he got in, he told the driver where to go and he headed there.
