you & zion are living together in LA at the prettymuch house. things are going very well between you both. you're the happiest you've ever been. but. zion's parents don't know about y'all's relationship. which has always kinda had you hesitant; but you love zion so you've let it slide. until...

"y/n! we needa talk" zion shouted from downstairs
you were up in y'all's room so you came down and sat with zion. "what up?"
zion smiled "so ah. you know how my parents don't know about you?"
you nod "yes"
zion sighed looking at the boys in the kitchen "they want to meet you. or they don't want us to be together anymore."
you sighed "it's been two years, z. 6 months, i would understand. but two years."
zion smiled " babe. they wanna meet you."

you finally agree to meet his parents. you get to canada and then drive to his parents place. before you know it, you were walking inside the house zion spent all of his childhood in. kinda not sure what to expect.

zion's mom ran up to you and gave you a hug "y/n! you're finally in canada!"
you smiled "took some courage but i'm here"
zion's dad rolled his eyes and sighed. causing zion to look directly at him "dad a word."

he pulled his father outside to chat. "dad. i love you but seriously.. what's the problem with y/n?!"
his dad sighed "z. i want you happy. you know i do. but what if she's using you? for the fame? money? etc?"
zion shakes his head "she's not like that. i've known here from the start. before we even told the public we were a band. she's been with me through it all."
zion's dad shrugs "so have we. but i just don't think she's good for you "
zion sighed "y'all's opinion means a lot to me. it shouldn't but it does... i just. i don't know dad."

zion walked away from his dad and over to you "babe. one second please?"
you nod "yeah?"
zion sighed "mum approves. dad... not so much. you know how much their opinions mean to me."
you sighed "so that's it then?"
zion sighed "babe. i don't want it to be but i don't know. you're worth everything. you're everything i've ever wanted. i don't know if i can lose that..."
i sighed "they're your parents z. i love you with my whole heart but i'm not coming between that." you stand up and head back to the car and kinda just sit on the curb

zion runs after you "y/n. i can't lose you. i can't. i'm nothin without you"
you sighed "zion. you have everything you've ever dreamed of. you don't need me in this picture too."
zion sighed " but hats the thing. i do. i do need you in the picture. as i said. you're worth everything. you are everything."
you sighed letting a tear fall "so the whole boyband career and fans at every city thing is just a bonus?"
zion sighed "if i had to pick between them and you. i would pick you. you. i know i keep repeating it but you're worth everything."

you then had no idea what to do. zion went back inside to talk to his parents and you wanted to give him space to do so. so whilst he was in there you were pretty much just alone.

you then decide you'll call someone who has been with zion pretty much every second of every day. you then call nick

nick smiled "hey hey! how's canada?"
you sighed "im out on the curb. that says it all"
nick sighed "what did he do to fuck it up this time?"
you sighed "it wasn't him.  he says i'm worth everything to him. but yet his dad doesn't approve and he says that their approval is everything."
nick shakes his head "y/n. i haven't seen z as happy as he is when he's with you. he won't throw that away just cause his dad doesn't approve of you at this second"
you sighed and kinda just hung up

you took a chance and walked inside.

zion's dad stands up "i know i'm not exactly open about how i feel about this whole thing but. if my boy is happy. and you look after him. then i'm okay"

zion hugs his dad "thank you!!! now after that rough start can we eat?!"

you smiled looking at zion. thinking how on earth did you ever ever get so lucky.
