you haven't always had your life put together, then when you met brandon in your freshman year, he really turned your life around. but. you moved in your sophomore year. so you obviously had to leave him. which. made you a mess.

you moved to temecula, california from dallas.

then. turns out, not long after you graduated, brandon moved to LA. you were in your second semester in beauty school when you found out. but. of course you'd moved on.

you had a boyfriend. but as soon as you went to LA for a midterm and ran into brandon.. it changed everything..

it had been about 3 months since you spoke to brandon. you knew that as soon as y'all would see each other or even talk all the feels would come back. and you were right.

"i saw you're in LA by your snap! we should see each other some time?" brandon texted you

you sighed seeing the text. let's just say. the timing wasn't perfect at all. it's your boyfriend jacob & yours one year.

it was hard enough on your relationship that you weren't there for your one year but also that brandon was in town.

you met up with the boys.

everyone hugged you straight away "y/n! i missed you!" but brandon? he kept his distance.
you look at nick "i don't get it? he asked me to meet up with y'all yet he won't come near me?"
nick smiled "i think that's something the two of you will have to talk about"
you sighed "nick. you can see he doesn't wanna come near me right?"
nick nods "then i'll bring him to you"

nick brought brandon towards you.

you look at brandon "why aren't you talking to me? you wanted me to hang out with y'all.."
brandon mumbles "because you still have a boyfriend."
you nod "well yeah i know but-"
brandon cuts you off "i know you're searching for something but i'm still loving you!"
you look at brandon "wait. what?"
brandon sighed "i know your with whatever his name is. but i love you y/n."
you look at brandon "we had a past b. back in dallas, a big past. but"
brandon looks at you "but what?"
you sighed "i'm with jacob remember?"
brandon nods "yeah. but not right now."

he was right. you weren't with him atm. you were an hour away from each other. but when you get around brandon everything comes rushing back. it was like. like jacob didn't even exist. you had to admit it but brandon makes you feel things. as wrong as it is.

brandon grabs your hand "let's do something tonight"
you looked at your hand in brandon's hand and smiled. you went silent then sighed "brandon. i can't do this."

you stood up to walk away and before you knew it, brandon pulled you back and kissed you.

you sighed "b."
brandon smiled "you don't have to tell him"
you sighed "it's our one year anniversary today & here i am kissing you."
brandon nods "but. it was there still wasn't it?"
you sighed as you nod

then. you get a text from jacob. "i've been seeing other girls for the last few weeks now. can we call it off? i feel like we're better off friends"

it was a sigh of relief.

you look at brandon and show him the text

brandon grabs your phone and replies "yeah. i agree. thank you for a good year though." he then kisses you again "there we go. now he's not a problem" he hands you your phone.

it should of felt wrong. but it didn't. it really didn't. it felt right. which. you never had with jacob.

so. you stayed in LA for a few more weeks since you had no more midterms. who knew so much could change in a few hours. but. you were extremely happy they did.
