as simple as it was, it was one of edwin's favourite things you've ever worn, so why not wear it on ya anniversary ya know?
edwin pulls up "babe you ready?" you smiled "let's go!"
as you're heading to the area where the picnic is, you can't help but look at all the scenery and take heaps of photos. which, you weren't mad about being about to do, since you adored photography just about as much as edwin.
after about 2 hours of eating and talking. you were staring at the scenery when you turn around and see edwin down on one knee
"y/f/n/. i love you more than words can describe. you mean more to me than you'll ever know. i love you so so much and i'm beyond blessed to have you in my life. from the small moments of laughing at the boys together, to meeting your family and getting to be around people who adore you almost as much as i do. last time we spent time with your family about three weeks ago, i sat down and spoke with your father for his blessing. he gave it to me within a heart beat. so. y/f/n; will you do the honour and the blessing of being my wife? will you marry me?" by now, edwin was crying.
which, didn't help you of course because seeing him that emotional just made you a MESS. you smiled with tears all the way down your face "yes. i'll marry you. any day"

although it seemed so simple, it was exactly what you wanted. nothing too flashy but enough to mean something to you. it was perfect.
edwin smiled and spun you around "i love you so much" you smiled "i love you even more"
