so you wanna fly 7,700 miles just for a boyband? - b.a

you live in new zealand. which. has its perks, as most countries do. but it also SUCKS. 95% more of the time that is.

you're a middle sibling. you have an older brother, whose in NY for college & a younger sister brooklyn; who is 9. she's OBSESSED with this band from LA. you didn't exactly know why, but they made her happy, that's all you could ask for, really.

you & your brother anthony have always been really close. him moving to the other side of the world (almost) was extremely hard on the both of you. but although he's so far away, he still finds a way to be extremely overprotective of you. but, he's your big brother so i guess it's expected.

it's early tuesday morning.

your little sister runs downstairs and she's screaming.
you jump up and run over to her, thinking she fell over
your sister brooklyn started to tear up
you look at her "brooklyn. what? you scared me. i thought you slipped down the stairs"
she hands you the phone "prettymuch. touring. starts. next monday. LA. time"
you look at her "and?"
"IF MOM AND DAD AGREE CAN YOU TAKE ME" she blurts out
you look at brooklyn "so you wanna fly 7,700 miles just for a boyband?"
she nods

you look at her "just get ready for school. i'll talk to mom and dad when you get home"

5pm. tuesday.

you look at your mom and dad "so brooklyn has something to ask"
brooklyn looks at her mom and dad "i wanna go to LA. for prettymuch's tour. tickets go on sale next monday. the show is thursday"
your mom and dad look at brooklyn
dad looks at her "whose gonna take you? we have work"
brooklyn smirks "that's where y/n comes in!"

let's just say. you had to take her. wednesday the next week. you arrive to your hotel.

brooklyn smiled "can we go find them!!"
you shake your head "no. if we run into them, then we run into them. we're not going looking for them"
brooklyn nods "fine."

you had to go to whole foods to get enough food to last you & brooklyn until you go back home in a week. you decided that since she's gonna drag you all the way to another country, and to a state you've been dreaming of seeing your whole life;  you might as well enjoy it.

walking around whole foods brooklyn and you seperated. you were looking for frozen food, whilst brooklyn was looking at the candy, which wasn't a surprise.

you were so distracted you walked into someone.
"i'm so sorry i don't know the area well and i just" you started picking up his things that he dropped
he smiled standing up "it's okay. don't sweat it"
you nod "thank you"
he smiled "anytime! what's your name?" he helps you up off the floor
you smiled "y/n. and you're?"
you were still holding hands when brooklyn came around the corner "BRANDON"
brandon nods and kinda giggles "yes. brandon"
you face palm as you let go of brandon's hand "i'm sorry about her she's a little crazy. well. a lot. crazy."
brandon smiled "it's okay z is the-"
before he could finish, brooklyn jumped in "ZION"
by now it was getting old.

you sighed "hey i should go before we get kicked out. i'm sorry again"
brandon smiled "don't sweat it! you coming to the show?"
you nod "crazy over there kinda dragged me"
brooklyn mumbled "yeah only 7,700 miles."
brandon looked at brooklyn "wait fr?"
you nod "yup. a LONG 7,700 miles."
zion comes around the corner "y'all got m&g?"
brooklyn shakes her head
you add "no. traveling from new zealand to here isn't the cheapest. so i could only afford GA."
"here" brandon handed you two m&g tickets. "tell the guard you're here for me and i'll get you right up the front for the show"

you and brandon made contact the whole show. you were there until everyone left. your sister wanted to stay back for as long as possible. but once brandon asked you out to lunch tomorrow, brooklyn's scream made everyone deaf.

you poke brooke "shut it!"
brooklyn nods
you itch your head "what about her tho? i can't leave her at the hotel"
edwin smiled "we'll take her for the day!"
austin adds "show her how we do things!"
brooklyn was nodding like crazy

i think she didn't mind that. it was crazy because the week you were there, brandon was more or less your tour guide. you had so much fun together. on your second to last day, he asked you to be his girlfriend. the distance didn't bother him. he just wanted to be with you & no one else. which made your heart flutter because no one else had ever said anything so sweet to you before.
