you & edwin have been together before PRETTYMUCH. and you both love each other with your whole hearts. until when he had to move out to LA.
you didn't want to stop him because you know it's his dream so you insist that he goes, so he did.

it came to being 7 months without seeing edwin other than on a screen through facetime and it was his birthday in a few days and you KNEW you had to be there one way or another.

conversation with your boss;

you; hey, i'm sorry to do this but is it okay if i can get a week off? i want to go see my boyfriend in LA, i haven't seen him in 7 months and his birthday is coming up"

your boss; yeah of course! i know how much he means to you! have a good week! see you back in on Monday!

you couldn't quite wrap your head around why that was so easy but you didn't want to question it, so, you just let it be

then you realise you need someone in LA to be your eyes and ears. your first option was brandon, but you know that when b has a big secret put in front of him, he's not exactly the best at holding it in, and you didn't want to risk it. so, you went to nick.

conversation with nick over text;

nick maraa👟; hey! you said you needed me on twitter?

you; ah yeah! you know
how ed's birthday is comin up?

nick maraa👟; yeah! what's up?

you; i wanna surprise him by
coming up. i just need your help

nick maraa👟; ooo i like the sound of this already

you; i land at 6pm. i need a ride to the house,
say you're gonna go get
some new shoes or something,
everyone will believe that
since you're shoe obsessed

nick maraa👟; well, you're lucky i take that as a compliment but yes, i got you

you; thank you! i owe you one!

*the scene at the PM house*

nick looks at austin "where's everyone?"
austin smiled "pool & fortnite!"
nick smiled " honestly no surprise there!, can y'all tell them i'll be back soon? i'm gonna go shopping"

he then grabs his keys and comes to the airport to pick y/n up

"hey y/n!" nick smiled pulling you into a hug
you smiled "hey! it still on the down low? ed has no idea?"
nick smiled "nope! they were all out by the pool or playing fortnite but austin so i just told him i'm shopping"
"shouldn't you buy something though? so it doesn't seem like a 100% lie?" i look at nick
nick nods "hm good point"

y'all then head to the mall to buy some shoes each then head back to the PM house.

once you get there, nick checks there's no one there inside and sneaks you into the kitchen. 30 minutes later the boys all come back in

nick smiled "i got some shoes!" he shows the boys
i smiled standing up from behind the kitchen bench "hey i got some too!"

edwin looks at the boys in disbelief "what how what happened" edwin looks at me
you smiled "nick helped me get here for your birthday! i'm here for the week"
edwin runs over and hugs you tightly. you, ed and the boys spent the whole time together just messing around, dancing, talking, singing etc
