"i love you y/n" edwin smiled
you jump surprised "ed. you've never said that before."

you and edwin have been together for awhile. and you're as close as you've ever been with any other guy.

it's your second anniversary. edwin smiled "baby! we're going away for the weekend"
you smiled "ed that's too much. i'll be okay just being here!"
edwin smiled "no. it's our second year. you deserve the best"
you smiled "thank you but really. i'll be okay here"
edwin shakes his head "were going whether you like it or not"
you roll your eyes "fine. where?"
edwin smiled "down the coast. just far enough for us to be away but yet close"
you nod "okay"
you pack your things and get ready to go.

edwin & you drive down the coast. just the two of you and stop at a reserve. just overlooking the nature, the land etc. edwin pulls out a picnic basket
you look at edwin and smile "edwin. what's all this"
edwin smiled "our two year date"
you smiled "aw ed!"
edwin smiled "sit down bub!"

you sit down and about 2 and a half hours later. edwin looks at you "hey,"
you smiled "yes?"
"i love you y/n" edwin smiled
you jump surprised "ed. you've never said that before."
edwin nods "i know and it's probably scary and it's probably too soon and you're not gonna say it back and you're gonna take off and run for the hills and-"
you giggled "ed stop with the ands! it's adorable. i'm not going anywhere. i love you too"
edwin smiled "really?"
you nod "yes more than anything."

you and edwin spent the night in the reserve just under the stars. watching them, watching the sunrise, being in each other's arms, hearing the nature & taking in the surroundings.

it was one of the best times.

the rest of the weekend you explored the local areas and really just enjoyed the bliss of being away. it was definitely one of the times you've ever had.
