zion is your best friend. y'all are so close and you love him to pieces. until. something changes.

zion has a girlfriend. and you can tell he's happy with her. but. you weren't happy with him being with her. yes, you were jealous of them but that wasn't it. it was that you knew austin deserves so much better. from day one you could tell something about her wasn't right. turns out. you were right. zion just didn't wanna believe it...

zion's girlfriend, well now ex. has just called it off. and zion wasn't handling it well to say the least. but you? well. you were caught right in the middle of it.

you sat beside zion "z. it's o-"
he cut you off "stop! you have no idea what love is! not a single clue so please just drop it!" he stood up and tried to walk away.
you grabbed his arm "zion! i do fucking know what love is! if i didn't, i wouldn't of stuck by you through everything!"
zion scoffed as he pulled his arm away from your grip "you stuck by me? nah! you were always so distant whenever i brought ashley to the house and you were here, you would never be near us! yeah cause THATS supportive!"
you sighed "you know why?! because i fucking love you! and i couldn't stand the fact of being around someone who i knew from day one was gonna hurt my everything!" you took yourself outside and sat on the front door step

brandon looks at zion "you handled that well bro!"
zion shakes his head "b it's not the time!"
brandon looks at zion "i know. but. she loves you, you dumbass! she didn't want to see you hurt so she kept her distance. and maybe because she always didn't want to hurt herself in the end situation with both. in the end ended up happening hey.."
zion looks at brandon "why are you always right? and just happen to be in the same place the drama goes down in?"
brandon giggles "that last part? i don't know. but the first part? because i can see the hurt when she left the house, z. i know you're hurting cause of what happened with ash, but she's hurting more."

you hear someone walk over to you and sigh "go away b. i don't even wanna talk to you at the moment either"
you were closest with b. you spent most of the time hanging out with him when zion was with ashley. brandon is like a brother to you.
zion sighed "i'm not b" he sits beside you"

you sighed "especially you"
zion sighed "look! i'm sorry! i get it. you were protecting us"
you look at zion "us?"
zion nods "yes. you stayed away from ash because you didn't wanna get hurt and you didn't wanna see me hurt"
you sighed "yeah and that didn't help did it?! look where we are now"
zion sighed "i'm sorry. and for what you said earlier... i love you too"
