National Best Friend Day ??

Apparently today is National best friend day.. If it was 2 years ago we'd all be hanging out. Who would've thought that the shy, new girl that i met on her first day of school would've done something like this.
Best friends meant stealing Zack's fudge when he and his friends went to the lunch line, and cracking up when he blames Jacori. We never told a soul.
Being friends meant keeping little secrets like that and saying that we'd take it to the grave. ( why did our 13 year old selves even THINK of that😂? ) Then when Unfriended came out the pact we all made that if one of us dies, we won't haunt each other.
Being friends meant pinching Antonio's cheeks in PE class and calling him chubby bunny while hugging him.
Being friends meant that every morning we got off the bus, there'd be jam sessions while we procrastinate doing the homework that's due in a few hours. It meant watching you try to fit 8 marshmallows in your mouth just avoid doing your AP Euro homework. Dancing on the lunch tables while trying to balance yourself. Also trying not to flash everyone at the same time because of your crazy skirts 😂
It meant  going through your backpack and finding countless containers of random foods😂
You and your highlighters that you " borrowed " and never gave back. Back in eighth grade you wanted everyone's EOS, you were the one who actually introduced it to us.
I can't even listen to high school musical without seeing you dancing.
Cupcake flavor goldfish will forever remind me of you, and the nasty chocolate flavor. You and your crazy taste of food. Tie dye shirts always reminds me of homecoming, how you weren't there with all of us to dye the shirts so we sacrificed yours first Incase we messed up, and yours ended up being the best one.

I miss being with the children, you weren't part of our movie nights all the time but when you were it was everything 😂
