(So for some reason I woke up at five am and I couldn't go back to sleep so I imagined this happening, because I feel sick, and now I'm sharing it with you guys. Yay!:))

A cold wind rushed by and I cuddled closer to johnny. I had fallen asleep with him at the lot last night and just decided to stay the night with him. He started bringing a blanket with him to the lot, only because I made him, but it didn't keep him anywhere near warm enough and I worried that he would get sick.

I felt him move around a little bit and then I heard his lighter clicking. His chest rose and fell as he smoked the cigarette. The smell was oddly comforting and warming.

He randomly started coughing. I sat up and gave him a 'I told you so' look, because I had told him staying in the lot, with it being this cold, would make him sick.

He wasn't looking too great either. His face was kind of pale and he was all clammy.

"What?" He said,"I ain't sick, I just smoked the cigarette the wrong way, that's all."

"Uh huh," I said while pressing the back of my hand to his forehead. I didn't believe his cigarette lie, and the fact that he was obviously running a fever didn't help him much.

"Johnny cade you are burning up!" I exclaimed. I pushed his bangs out of the way and held my hand to his forehead again, just to make sure I was right. I was.

"Yeah yeah," he pushed my hand away. Johnny would never admit when he was sick or hurt for the same reason he wouldn't come stay at my house or pony's, he didn't want to be a burden.

"I told you Johnny, I told you you would get sick. Now put the cigarette out, it'll only make you sicker," I said.

"I don't need a lecture," he said while putting the cigarette out.

"Okay, I'm sorry," I apologized. "But I am taking you to my house so that I can take care of you."

He gave me a pleading look and then started coughing again. "I'm fine," he said in between coughs.

"No, your not." I protested. "Now stop arguing with me, and let's go to my house. C'mon."

I tried pulling him off the car seat, but he stayed seated. He was laughing at my failed attempt and so was I.

He stood up and threw his arm around my shoulder. I think he did it more for him than for me, because he was acting pretty dizzy. He stopped walking for a second and closed his eyes real tight.

"You okay Johnny?" I asked. He nodded and opened his eyes again.

"Yeah, just feel a little...." he trailed off.

"Sick?" I asked amused.

He sighed. "Yeah."

I laughed a little bit and then we continued to walk home.

I made him go lay down on the couch while I made him some soup and gave him some medicine. After he ate the soup he was pretty tired so he laid his head in my lap and watched tv while I played with his hair.

After about two days, he started to feel better.
