With a wildly thumping heart, my eyes kept looking at the girl... at the woman... in front of me in the mirror. Her face, her eyes, they were having a certain shine, a certain glow. She was looking peaceful, happiest. And why wouldn't she be? In a few moments, she was going to have her complete world to herself.
Alice gave the last stroke of her brush against the skin of my cheek and I was finally completely ready. Her green eyes examined me carefully. "Stand up." She said and then I stood up slowly. "Gurrl, look at you! You look stunning! Oh my God!" She squealed excitedly, clasping her hands, smiling wider than I thought was humanly possible.
I swallowed hard as slowly I let my eyes look into the mirror in front of me. The white fabric of my dress was cascading down my body like a shimmering waterfall of whiteness, hugging me perfectly at all of the right places. It was backless, off shoulder having thin, delicate straps and designer sleeves, with a long piece of fabric extending down from each sleeve along with the length of dress.

Alice let my hair fall naturally over my shoulders and put waves in them. There was a beautiful, delicate forehead tiara decorating my forehead.
