Cheryl,
The day you kissed me was the day I instantly found hope. There's nothing that you could ever do that would make me stop loving you because how can you do that when you've given me the best gifts that could ever be given in life? I can never repay you. You being the Mother to all three of my children and so, so much more to me. Am I dumb for wanting you as badly as I do? Am I wrong for wishing you could be mines for forever again? I don't think so because you were my first wife and I planned on you being the only one too. I promise you that if we could get back on track, I'd become a better man for you. I'll drop everything to make sure that you're the most happiest and that's a promise. I'll show you that you don't have to go to another man in order to feel loved because I'm gonna make sure that you get all the love that you need. Sometimes I blame your infidelity on myself because I drove you to want him. I drove you into wanting something more from somebody else because I didn't know how to fully play the role as a husband to the fullest. I just provided because that's all I knew how to do. I tried my best to pay you attention and love you to the best of my ability but I failed. However, I know what I want and I want you back. I just want you to come back to me, fill my heart up enormously and fix my broken heart. I can't move on. I tried and all it did was hurt me even more. All I did was wish that she was you and that's unacceptable so, I cut it off. I ended it because I'd rather not get sick from loving somebody I don't even really love at all. Maybe I shouldn't even admit this but being a man, I wanted somebody to confide in and fuck the pain away with. I didn't know what I was doing but I knew that my heart was somewhere else. My heart was simply with you because it is you, baby. All I ask is for you to come back to me! That's all I want now...
TONY's POINT OF VIEW
The past;"Cheryl, I was gonna ask you sooner than later, sweetheart." I said as I anxiously looked up at her as I held the little box in my hand and rested down on one knee.
She just stood there silently with one of her hands over her mouth and a surprised look on her face.
"Cheryl...." I said once again as I kept smiling. I guess she was still in shock because she just stared at it. My heartbeat grew faster as I waited for her answer to my simple question.
Suddenly, she just immediately started shaking her head yes and that's when I took the ring out, grabbed her left hand and slowly slid it on her ring finger.
Afterwards, I stood up and she bombarded me with a hug around my neck all while saying, "Yes" repeatedly. I just simply laughed and kissed her neck quickly. "I love you so much." She silently said as she then hid her face in my neck.
"I love you so much more. More than you know. That's why I asked you to marry me." I said with a small laugh. She started laughing as well. She pulled back from hiding her face in my neck and started wiping the happy tears from her face so that she could look me in the eyes.
I had everything planned out for an entire week now.
A planned dinner outside while flowers surrounded the table to add the sweet aroma of forever. The candles on the table to light the pathway for our beginning and food that would introduce her to what I could plan for any special occasion.
I didn't cook it of course because I wanted it to be beyond perfect.
A night sky which was lit with stars to guide our relationship now and in the future. The air that was crisp with the most slightest wind to cool off my nervousness.
Why was everything so perfect on this night?
The way she was dressed, from the way she hugged my neck and all the way down to the smile that crept perfectly upon her face.
I made her happy. That's what matters and the fact that she said; YES!
"I want to make you the most happiest woman from now until death separates us." I told her in a calm voice all while I gently moved some of her hair out of her face.
"And I want to make you the most happiest man..." She returned with as she then gently kissed my lips. After she broke the short kiss, she smiled at me and stared at my lips as if she wanted more.
"You did the moment you said yes."
We both smiled at each other and continued the kiss.
The kiss that opened the gap way to us and a lifetime together;
Forever.
