CAIYA's POINT OF VIEW
"Are you goin' to prom or not? You ain't been talkin' about it and whenever I bring it up- you become silent..." Kelly said as she and I walked down the hallway side by side. Gripping the straps on my backpack, I rolled my eyes while she wasn't looking.
"Who cares about prom? I don't and maybe that's why I haven't been talkin' about it, Kels. It's okay, I don't have to go..." I told her as I weaved my way through the crowd in the hallway. Kelly now being behind me, I could hear her groaning about my statement. "I don't see why it's such a big deal," I added as I finally made it to my locker.
"It's a big deal because it's prom! What girl doesn't wanna go to prom?!" Kelly asked me as she leaned against the locker next to mines and stared at my face. I looked at her with a blank face and hoped that she saw in my eyes that I didn't wanna talk about it anymore.
Slightly looking behind her, I saw Justin and Darleen holding hands as they stood next to her locker. She then looked at me and gave me a glare. Justin then looked over towards me as well and smirked. As we all stared at each other, Kelly must've noticed me looking behind her because she turned around to look.
"Look at those bitches..." Kelly said as she and I continued staring at them. Next, Kelly placed her hand by her mouth and prepared to say something. "I hope you're liking my best friends left overs, slut!" She slightly yelled at them.
"Fuck you, Kelly," Darleen spoke up as she raised her middle finger at the both of us. I then took a step forwards and flipped her off as well.
"Anybody can throw up a middle finger, bitch. Don't make me come over there and fuck you up. Jealous ass," I told Darleen but before I could say anything else- Kelly pulled me back towards my locker and gestured for me to calm down.
"Hush, Caiya. Let me be the bad bitch. You chill!" Kelly told me as she blocked my view from Darleen.
"I'm tired of her ass!" I told Kelly as I yanked a book out of my locker and slammed it.
"I know. We know. Just chill. Aight?"
"Yeah, I'm chill, Kelly. I just can't wait until her pussy falls off her body, so she can see that she shouldn't have let every living thing dig into it. Dumb, bitch!" I spat as I then made sure that my locker was locked after closing it.
"Yeah, yeah- she's dumb. The entire school knows that shit. She's a whore. Let it go!" Kelly explained to me as she grabbed my arm gently and started pulling me down the hallway in the opposite direction of Darleen.

While at lunch, I was still upset about Darleen saying something to Kelly and staring at me the way she did. Everything about her gets underneath my skin! Justin is only dating her because he wants to get back at me and really, I don't give a damn. She's a whore and he's a man whore. They both go together so well.
"So, Caiya almost stepped up to Darleen, Demi," Kelly said as she giggled and bit her apple. Demetrius, who was sitting beside me, looked at me and furrowed his eyebrows.
"Hold up, why?" He asked me. I shrugged my shoulders and picked up my pizza to take a bite.
"Because she's a whore maybe?" I said as I finally took a bite and then placed it back down onto my tray. "We all know why he's with her! We all know and he thinks that it's gonna make me mad but it's not. He's failing. Just like his dick when it came to him reaching my guts," I said as I harshly grabbed my carton of milk and opened it. Realizing that the table was silent, I looked up and they were both looking at me.
