CHERYL's POINT OF VIEW
Everything was going fine.
Pretty okay.
Better than I thought that it would.Shemar took me out for dinner tonight and everything actually felt like old times.
All we could do was laugh at the many things that we used to do and that's what I wanted back.
Our old selves. Our old friendship.
If we did brew into something more- I'd be okay with that. Why wouldn't I? It was one of our goals once before.Shemar continued laughing and then stopped to take a drink of his water.
"And this is why you got on your Moms nerves." I said as I continued laughing at him.
He shrugged his shoulders and put his glass of water down.
"I know, I know. This is fun..." he said as he smiled at me.
I smiled back and started blushing a little bit.
"Yeah, I agree." I said as I looked at my empty wine glass."Want more?" He asked me as he raised his eyebrows.
I shook my head and waved his question off with my hand. "No, no...I'm pretty sure it was expensive."
"Nonsense." He said as he then put one finger in the air. Immediately, our server came over.
"Yes sir?" He said as he looked at a Shemar.
"Can we get the entire bottle, please?" Shemar asked as he lightly fixed his tie.
"Yes, sir. I'll be back." He said as he then walked away.
Shemar continued sipping on his water and while I waited, I looked out the window and spotted somebody I hoped to never see during times like this. Only because I know that he's crazy as hell.
Trey was standing on the other side of the street looking shocked.
I immediately turned my head the other way and hesitated on what to do next.
"You okay?" Shemar asked me as he too looked out the window.
"Uh...yeah. I just-...how long are we gonna be here?" I asked.
"Uhm, you ready to go?"
"Yeah, yeah...let's go." I said as I nodded my head really fast and started to stand up.
Once I stood up, Trey all of a sudden was standing next to my chair.
His ass must've ran into this damn restaurant.
"Who is this?" Trey asked me as he stood closely by me and looked at Shemar.
"None of your business. Why are you even-..." I asked but before I could finish my sentence, he grabbed my arm and pulled me closely towards him.
"Who...is...he?" Trey asked once more.
"I think that the real question is...who are you and why are you touchin' on her like that? That's not how you touch a woman, Bro." Shemar told Trey. He stood up and looked at us with a confused facial expression.
