Yes, this is the ending. An ending that I thought would best fit. Through it all, I had this song below on repeat. Not only did it help capture the feelings of each character but to remind me of the connection they all have in their own individual way. In my opinion, love is the root of everything I've ever written in these books. A true type of love that has no thought of FULLY letting go because if it did- they wouldn't be themselves to the fullest. Sometimes love fails, it hurts and it wants to go another round. But- love never lets you forget. No matter how hard you try. You can never forget how good and hard you once loved someone. At least true love doesn't let you...
To the song that got me through the first three books and will get me through the fourth one as well;
The only song that allows me to write something meaningful but overall, the only song that made me want to write in the first place two years ago;
Stranger In My House
Continued from the last chapter;Tony's Point Of View
"Trust me, Cheryl. Everything will go as planned, okay? She's coming downstairs now and after she eats- all the kids and I will be on our way. Just relax," I told Cheryl over the phone as I waited downstairs in the kitchen for Caiya to arrive.
After Cheryl said a few more things over the phone, we then ended the call.
This was supposed to be a good day. A wonderful day and I hope that I make our daughter smile after all of us pitched in for something like this.
I'm not too fond of that Demi boy but Cheryl likes him and so, that must mean that he's still appropriate. That's all that matters is that Caiya is treated well.
More than well but like the princess I view her as.
I rubbed my hands together and stared at the eggs that I made Caiya on the plate.
I'm not even sure she eats eggs but we'll see today. I don't usually cook and so, this isn't up my alley. You get what you get and they definitely didn't get a father who can throw down in the kitchen.
Finally, Caiya made it downstairs and as she reached the kitchen entrance, I smiled a humongous smile at her.
She furrowed her eyebrows together and slowly walked into the kitchen.
"Okay, whats going on? You're acting weird and...what is this?" She asked me as she looked at the scrambled eggs I made.
"Eggs! I mean, don't they look like eggs?" I asked her as I pushed the plate towards her and watched her face scrunch up.
"Yeah uhm...I don't want any breakfast. Thank you though..." she said as she shook her head at me and smiled so I wouldn't feel too bad about her not eating my food.
I nodded my head. "Yeah, they do look disgusting. Anyways, I'm gonna go wake your other two siblings annnnnd, we are gonna leave..."
