CHERYL's POINT OF VIEW

After the things that Trey said earlier, I've just been avoiding him at work all day. I didn't want to be around him at all and I even ask if he could be switched to another casting team.

Surprisingly, Jordan was understanding about me being uncomfortable around him and automatically removed him from Marla and I's group.

Since Cai didn't have to go to school today, she watched Dana and took care of her while I was at work.

Cai was actually acting...alright, I guess?

"I'm gonna go put Dana down for a nap." Cai said as she picked Dana up and held her close to her chest.

"No, it's fine, Cai. I can take it from here..." I said as I reached out for Dana.

"You sure? I know that you're tired and-..."

"I'm sure." I said as I smiled. She then handed Dana over to me and watched me as I held her close to my chest as well. She was already nodding on me a little bit and wiping her eyes with her hands. "Come on, baby girl. Let's get some sleep." I said as I was about to make my way upstairs with her.

"Ma..." Cai then said. I stopped walking and turned to look at her.

"Yes?"

"Why didn't you tell us that you were seeing...Trey? I think that's his name." She asked as she held her hands.

"I don't anymore."

"Oh..." Cai then said as she looked away from me.

"Why?"

"I just...I didn't think that he would be your type. He's...odd."

"I agree with that actually and that's why we aren't seeing each other anymore." I said as I looked down at Dana and kissed her forehead.

"He kinda said-...well, never mind."

"He said what?" I asked her as I furrowed my eyebrows together and looked at her in a confused facial expression.

"Nothing. I'm just happy that you're not seeing him anymore. I'm-...gonna go get some homework done." Cai said as she nodded her head and started to go upstairs.

I watched her as she went upstairs and thought to myself about what it was that she was close to telling me. I'm gonna find out...

After I put Dana down for a nap- I went into my room and started to straighten things up a bit.

During the week, I'm always so busy with work and watching Dana that I fall asleep before I could even do anything for myself.

As I was cleaning up, Cai showed up in my doorway. I looked over towards her and raised my eyebrow.

"What are we gonna eat for dinner?...
I just didn't wanna make something and you end up making something or whatever..."

"Uhm, see- I was actually gonna make some spaghetti. Do you think you could wait that long?" I said as I looked at her.

"...yeah, I can. It's not late, so- yeah." Cai said as she nodded her head and walked off.
