Apparently Wattpad is acting like an ass because it's not notifying people when chapters have been updated. They're fawking with my reading views 🙄 but here it goessss

SHEMAR's POINT OF VIEWAfter yesterday, I felt like Cheryl and I were in a good place with each other. I mean, much better than we've been in a few days. I'm just happy that I no longer have to feel like I'm standing on thin ice with her because that's something that definitely can not happen at all.
After I finished hugging her last night, she left and that was pretty much the end of her visit.
Sometimes I wonder why she's been so sensitive her entire life and yes, the crying can be confusing some days. However, her being a woman- that's expected but I'm tired of causing her tears.
Today, I came to her office to surprise her. I just wanted to see her and confirm that we're still in that good place with each other.
I gently knocked on her door and waited for her to say that I could come in.
Meanwhile, I looked behind me and noticed that her friends office was across the hall from hers.
"Come in," I heard Cheryl say.
Suddenly, I placed my hand on the doorknob and opened it.
Once my face appeared fully- she smiled at me.
I then let out a sigh of relief because that notified me that she's okay with me at least a little bit.
"Hey," She said as she stood up from behind her desk and waited for me to make my way over towards her. Once I reached her, I planted a kiss on her lips.
After our quick kiss exchanged, I examined her desk and saw a piece of paper that looked interesting.
"How was your night?" I asked her as I continued looking down at the paper.
"It was...okay," she said as she reached for both of my hands and gently pulled me towards her. Once I was fully in front of her, she let my hands go and gave me a hug.
With my arms wrapped around her, I looked over at the paper once more and saw that it read; Fill out below what a peer coworker has said or done that has made you feel uncomfortable in a work space.
"Cheryl, what's this paper about?" I asked her as I placed my hands on her hips and broke the hug.
She then looked over at it and grabbed it.
"Nothing really. Just work," She said as she turned it over and then looked over at me. She then grinned a fake smile.
I knew that something was going on and she just wasn't gonna tell me.
"Are you feeling uncomfortable at work?" I spoke up. I wasn't gonna let it go until she told me what it was that she had going on.
Next, she lightly sighed and looked at me with eyes that seemed to be afraid to an extent.
"It's Trey. Last night at the party, he said some things and it hit the last straw with me. He brought up Caiya and he keeps talking about sexual things that we've engaged in during our relationship back then. This isn't even the first time he's done something like this, Shemar. Trey is honestly scary but I try not to show him that I'm afraid of him while he's around. Truth is- he is horrifying..." She explained to me.
