SHEMAR's POINT OF VIEW

Once we made it to my house, I jumped right into it.
I needed my plan to go through tonight and I changed my mind about a few things. I'm not even gonna put this on Cheryl but instead, imma straight up tell him who did it. Me.

His feelings for her can be no more and that's only because I said so.

If she gets upset with me because of what I was about to do- well, at least she knows that I'm doing this for the sake of our relationship.

So, let's go started;

Walking into the kitchen, I could already hear Cheryl's signature loud laugh.

She was on the phone and wiping the countertops off all at once.

Once she saw me walk in, she looked up at me and smiled a small smile.

I smiled back and she then continued talking to whoever was on the phone.

"Yep. We definitely should. Uhm hm..." She said as she then lightly laughed.

Wondering who she was on the phone with, I raised an eyebrow and walked over towards her slowly.

I examined her face in the process and how easily as laugh slipped from her throat.

She smiled her signature smile and wiped the marbled countertop as best as she could in the moment.

I slid behind her and wrapped my arms around her as I embraced her with a hug.

Something about touching her and being in her presence is what made me feel complete.

Maybe I shouldn't love a woman this much but I can't help myself.

Sometimes it's scary how much I can't help myself because she's so embedded in my heart that it seems as if she's every inch of it.

And that's exactly why I have to protect what we have because if I don't- imma end up heartbroken again.

Those two years without her by my side felt as if I were gonna break at any moment.

I'm actually surprised that I didn't break but then again, I had hopes to come back to her. I had too much hope in knowing that we could still be something but without Cheryl, I'm not myself.

Everybody who was around me in California knew and saw that in me on a daily basis. I wasn't interested in nothing or anybody because I knew that my heart was based wherever Cheryl was.

Finally, she got off of the phone and slightly turned her head around to look at me.

"Who was that?" I simply asked as I moved back to my place towards the side of her.

"Uh, Inaya. Her and I just haven't really spoke in such a long time and so, I was just catching up with her. You know...things like that," She said as she stared down at the countertop and then looked over at me.

"Yeah, why do you two barely talk?"

"I'm not sure, we just-...life, I guess? I don't know but we should be hanging out pretty soon. Honestly, I do miss her a lot," she said as she shrugged her shoulders and then walked away from me.
