Don't worry....I'm back now 😈
I've been busy BUT hey 👋🏾CHERYL's POINT OF VIEW
Sunday; Later that night.
"Okay...do you guys have all of your stuff ready?" I asked Cai and Ciyle. We were all upstairs and they were getting their things ready because Tony would be here to pick them up soon.
"Yeah, we are...pretty much ready, Mom." Ciyle said as he nodded his head and closed the door to his room.
"Okay, that's good. So, have any basketball games coming up?" I asked him as I smiled.
"Yeah, I actually have one on Tuesday. Wanna come? Dad's gonna be there and plus, he's been working with me almost every day after school. I'm way better..." He said as he smiled at me.
"Sure, you know that I would absolutely love to be there. What time?"
"7:00."
"Gotcha. Okay, let me go check on your sister because apparently, she can't hear."
"She's probably ignoring you." He said as he shook his head.
"I know..." I said as I continued down the hallway towards her room. I then stopped in front of the door and knocked.
"Cai...did you hear me? Do you have all of your stuff ready? Your Dad should be here soon..." I said as I moved my ear a little closer towards her door. She then rushed to open the door. She stood there with a straight face and her bag in her hand.
"I'm not a kid. I've been ready the day that I stepped foot in this house. I never unpacked." She said as she looked at me.
"Cai, I know that-..."
"Yeah, Whatever." She said as she then put her bag down, slid by me and went into the bathroom. She closed the door without giving me a chance to talk to her.
I stood there and just sighed.
I looked down the hallway and Ciyle was looking at me."Ma, you've gotta get a little harder on her. She's gonna keep blowin' you off." He told me.
"I-...I know. Yeah." I said as I nodded my head.
Next, I heard the doorbell ring.
"That must be him. I need to talk to him so stay upstairs, please. Tell your sister the same when she comes out." I ordered Ciyle as I walked down the hallway and down the stairs.
Once I made it down the stairs, I heard the doorbell ring again.
"Coming!" I yelled as I continued to walk towards it.
Next, I opened the door and smiled at the sight of Tony holding Dana.
"Hey, baby!" He said with the biggest smile on his face.
I was shocked. He called me...baby?
"H-...hi..." I said as a smile grew on my face. The moment I've been waiting for. Him to finally love me again.
