"Let you get my last shot of Hennessy- ain't NEVA had a friend like me;"

SHEMAR's POINT OF VIEW

"How are you feeling?" Steven asked me as he patted the side of my face as he and I went over the necessities in my dressing room. I don't know why but I was more than nervous. Only because I knew that Cheryl didn't want me to do this and maybe she's right. Yet, I need to because I need to get this out the way. It's apart of my job...what does she expect?

"Yeah, I'm fine. But..." I said as I looked down at my watch. "It's ten til show. Where is Nathan with my apology? I'm telling you, Steven. I'm not going on that damn stage until I get what we agreed..."

"I know, I know. I got you. He said that he was gonna be on his way down in two minutes. Give the man some time, okay?"

I nodded my head and fixed my tie a little bit.

"It's hot in here. Hurry- turn that fan on will you, please?" I said as I loosened my tie a bit and rubbed my left eyebrow with my finger.

Steven then turned it on for me. "What was going on with Cheryl earlier? I thought she liked me..."

"She does. She just doesn't like the idea you gave me about being on this show. She hates Nathan," I said as I looked at him. "She won't even respond to my text or answer my calls. I know that she's at work but damn..."

"Just give her some time. Soon, she will know that you're doing this for a reason. Chill, man," Steven told me as he gave me a thumbs up.

"Alright, man. Go check on that Nathan thing. I'm ready to get out of here..." I said as I sat down in a chair and pulled my phone out.

I then clicked on Cheryl's number and called her for the tenth time today.

CHEYL's POINT OF VIEW

"There he goes again, Toni. Calling me..." I said as I crossed my legs and placed my phone face down on her couch.

"Girl, you need to answer that man. You already know that he's gonna be live pretty soon. Just see what he wants..."

"No, he wants to be hardheaded. So, he will have to go through this alone. I told him not to go through with it and so, he doesn't wanna listen. His fault," I said as I shrugged my shoulders and stared at the TV.

I was supposed to go to work but I wanted to see him make an ass out of himself. So, I came to Toni's house and got comfortable. She didn't mind.

"Whatever you say. You just don't know how hard it is for me to separate the friend in me that you have with the counselor in me that you have as well...." Toni said as she sipped on her wine.

I then looked down at my phone as it started buzzing once more. I rolled my eyes at it and then looked back at the TV.

"Wish I had a man that was heavy below and called my phone like that whenever we weren't good with each other. You've got it made, Peps. You just don't know it..." Toni ended as she glued her eyes to the TV.

I looked over at her and sighed.
