I'm so happy that my room is not in the middle of the house, I have my own window which is obviously wonderful because I have the view of the whole yard and the swimming pool looks beautiful at this time of the night.

I placed the last piece of clothing inside my closet when I heard a soft thud coming from the window.

This is my first night here and I think I'm already being haunted.

"Scott!" a faint call coming from the yard almost startled me, as another small rock hit my window pane.

I tip toed my way to check it out.

It was Luke. Obviously. Who else would cal me, Scott.

He was signaling me to open the window so I did.

"Oh my god! what are you doing here!" I shouted,

"Shhhh! can you be a little louder?" He whisper shouted with the voice like he's going to be all crazy.

Right! Guys are not allowed in the house on weekdays, except if Amber knows the reason why that guy is in the house, like Ashton awhile ago, Amber knew that he was helping me and Amanda to move our things. We all know that Amber still holds a grudge on Luke.

"Why are you here? You should be in your football practice!" I nagged only enough for him to hear.

"I know! I did practice but I left as soon as I could" He wipes the sweat tickling down his forehead.

"Why would you do that? your game is only less than a week and a half!" I crossed my arms on my chest, letting him know that I'm not happy with his stunt,

He brushes the hair on the back of his head as he plays with his lipring using his teeth, "I'm sorry, I just wanted to see you. I just can't live a day without seeing you."

I wanted to laugh because I think he's just joking me like he was just pretending but the tone of his voice says otherwise, "You could've waited until tomorrow" I sighed in defeat,

"I could've but I can't. I wanted to know if you're okay and if you're settled in and I just wanted to see you"

I am touched and flattered with all the words that are escaping his lips, I couldn't believe what I am hearing but I can feel that it is the truth. Its just hard to take it in because it was Luke who was saying it, Luke that had a lot of things to deal with, the Luke who would always pick on me as long as he has the chance, I know that he's not the Luke I met but this is just all new to me, how could he be cold hearted to the warmest person you don't want to live without in just a split of a second?

"Can I come up there?"

"What?! How??"

Before I could protest more he started climbing by the post and into the water gutter then before I knee it his already standing on the roof intended to be the back porch's.

"Hi" He smiled, I could finally see his face, He steps in my room like climbing a water gutter was easy.

"H-hey" I stepped beside my bed to fully look at him, He's sweaty and he obviously hasn't showered yet,

"What are you doing?" He asks, "So, this is your room?"

"I just finished packing, how did you know that, that was my window?"

"I knew that this room was empty and persuaded Ashton to tell Amanda to beg Amber to make this your room, I'm surprised it worked" He chuckled, taking off his jersey

I looked away, "What are you doing?" I stammered,

"I'm so sweaty, I need to change my clothes"
