"Hey." napalingon ako kay Thirdy when he lightfully nudged my arm. "Ayaw mo na?" tanong niya sakin.

Nakaturo siya sa binake na cookies ni Jho na nasa table na shinare sa amin ni Nico, which everyone seems to be really enjoying by now.

"Sige lang. I'm good."

Thirdy just shrugged his shoulders at tsaka kumuha ng panibagong piece.

It is genuinely good, no doubt about that. For a first timer like Jho, she really nailed those cookies. It's just that, I suddenly remembered something I shouldn't be remembering in the first place. And that memory made those cookies suddenly hard for me to swallow.

I used to do that. Bake cookies for Jho whenever I feel like it. But now, the tables have been turned. Siya na yung nagbebake... for another person.

Not to be bitter or something though. I actually think it's cute for her to try something she doesn't have any knowledge about in doing. It's just that, the memory just struck me in a sudden pace it felt weird. I mean, there's memories siguro talaga which will hit you real good right on that certain spot.

Damn you cookies.

I reached for the mineral water infront of me at bigla akong napainom.

Gather yourself, Beatriz. Cookies lang yan ano ba.

"This is good if paired with ate Bea's Milo Dinosaur." Dani suddenly said.

"Yeah! Cookies are ten times better if paired with Milo Dino." Tumingin sa akin si Ponggay. "We always do that di ba whenever we're at your place."

Napatango lang ako at napatungga ulit sa hawak kong water bottle.

"Milo Dino?" Nico curiously asked.

"Bea's specialty, bro." Thirdy answered. "Just a blended Milo and milk with lots and lots of Milo."

Hindi ko alam kung nang aasar ba 'tong si Thirdy or what.

"That sound really... sweet." Natawa si Nico. "Like diabetes sweet."

Parang biglang nang init yung taas ng tenga ko pagkasabi ni Nico non. Parang may halong pang aasar pa eh.

The nerve of this guy to belittle my Milo Dinosaur! He hasn't even tasted it!

Pasalita na sana ako to defend my precious Milo Dino pero naunahan ako ni Thirdy na tumawa muna bago nagsalita.

"It may sound like diabetes bro, but it's actually really good. Like super good."

Medyo napangiti ako sa sinabi ni Thirdy.

"It's ate Jhowjhow's favorite nga eh. Right ate Jho?" Dani suddenly chimed in.

Biglang nabura yung ngiti sa labi ko. Literal na parang gusto kong ibuhos dito sa youngest Ravena yung hawak kong mineral water.

Nananadya ba 'tong magkapatid na 'to?

"Ah oo." Reply ni Jho, may hint pa ng pag aalinlangan sa boses niya. "Nakakamiss."

I didn't know if I heard her last statement correct but it is enough to trigger something inside of me.

She misses it....

Wala sa sarili kong ibinalik sa table yung water bottle na hawak ko, but natumba yon because I was not really paying attention with what I am doing. Hindi nakasara yung bottle kaya nagkalat yung water sa table.

"Shit." hindi ko mapakaling sabi at agad itinayo yung bottle to stop more spilling, which is useless by the way because the bottle is already empty.
