Weeks passed, and before I knew it, natapos na ang U23.

It was such a memorable experience and of course a priviledge to be able to represent Philipines. I will never forget all the things that happened kahit we never got the chance na makapasok sa finals. Pero being there is also like winning for everyone.

Masaya kasi I got to make some new friends and also mas naging memorable pa because I got to experience all of this with my bestfriend.

And madami din akong natutunan not just from our coaches but also from my team mates na I'm sure I will be able to use to be a better athlete.

So ayon, when we got back I went home agad to spend some time with my family kasi masyado akong naging busy sa U23. I used the chance to make bawi kanila Mom and Dad and also to rest na din before magstart and training ng ALE for UAAP season 78.

Almost a week of being at home, nakapagpahinga na talaga ako at parang gusto ko na gumala gala since hindi pa ako busy kaya susulitin ko na.

Gala Queen is back!

Since hindi naman ganon ka wide yung circle of friends ko, si Jho agad yung naisip ko. My other close friends Maki and Celine are both busy na eh.

I texted Jho and tamang tama sabi nya she will be back sa Quezon tomorrow. Umuwi kasi sya sa Batangas kaya it's been a week na rin na hindi kami nagkikita. I miss her too! Nasanay kaya ako na lagi syang kasama nung U23 😔

Sa sobrang close namin sabi nila para na nga daw kaming pinagdikit ng super glue. Lol.

Mas naging strong lang talaga yung friendship namin. Ikaw ba naman na halos araw araw kasama mo si Jho. Buti nga hindi pa kami nagkakapalit ng face.

"Isabel, why don't you invite Jhoana here sa house? Para naman makilala namin sya." Nakangiting sabi ni Mom.

We're here at the dining table eating dinner with Dad. Kuya's not around because he's out of town.

"Oo nga Isabel. I only met her once pa lang." Dad said.

"Sure. I will." I said, excited.

Actually, matagal na talaga kaming nagpaplano ni Jho na magsleepover here sa house kaso laging hindi natutuloy because of our busy schedule.

After our dinner, mas naexcite ako to invite my bestfriend because Mom and Dad wants to meet her. Siguro dahil sanay sila na nandito lagi ang mga close friends ko kaya they also want to see Jho.

Umakyat ako sa room ko and I immediately dialed Jho's phone number.

She answered after the 3rd ring.

[Hello?]

"Hey!"

[Musta? Miss mo na ko no?]

"Hell no. I just want to know if you're still alive."

I heard her chuckled kaya natawa na din ako. Nakakahawa kasi talaga yung tawa nya though it sound like a dying walrus 😂✌

[Sus! Miss mo na talaga ako no aminin. Miss mo na kagandahan ko?]

"Ok fine. Yes. I miss my nognog friend."

[Pakyo!]

I started laughing uncontrollably.

"Love you! By the way, lets have sleepover!"

[Dyan sa inyo?]

"Yup. Mom and Dad told me I should invite you din."
