"Hey, c'mon, you're going to be late

"Hey, c'mon, you're going to be late." I said to Aera. I could see she was having a hard time and struggling to put on pantyhose.

"Yeah, give me one sec. I don't know why, but pantyhose is way more difficult to put on thighs. Oh – oh, my God! Can you help me with this?" She said, in the midst of her fight with the pantyhose, she fell on her back with her legs sticking straight up in the air.

I snickered. "That's a good angle for you. Very attractive." I walked over to the bed and help her with the pantyhose. "You look very pretty in that dress. I like you in white."

"I like it that I choose you as my bridesmaid. I love what you're wearing right now." Her gaze lingered on me for a while.

"Thanks." I said, smoothing out the skirt self-consciously. "Let's go. Your father must be waiting."

I don't get it how am I able to get out of my bed on weekend and somehow becoming a bridesmaid on my best friend's wedding ceremony? Usually, I'll just lay in bed, reading and do nothing which sometimes led me to sleep like there's no tomorrow. But, yeah, once again, she was my best friend, and this is the least that I could do for her. Well, I got free food in advanced!

I walked into the ballroom. It's not really crowded since Aera wants her wedding to be private, so the guests are just the relatives, friends and some of her parents' friends. Aera looks so beautiful in her wedding dress, walking down the aisle with her father, to exchange vows with her soon to be husband. At this moment, I wonder what it's like to be in love, what it's like to have someone fall for you? I wonder what it's like to hold hands, to hug, to kiss someone you love? I wonder if love is worth fighting for. What if it was a test...and you must let go of them. Maybe I'm better off alone because no one has ever loved me, and I have never felt like anyone wants me or needs me ever.

I looked over the married couple, and they're exchanging vows to each other. "You may kiss the bride now." Everyone was cheering on them. Aera looks the happiest. She must be really in loved with her husband. They were busy greeting the guests, so I decided to go to the dressing room as I have nothing to do. As I was walking, I met with Aera's parents, maybe it's better to have a conversation with them instead of resting.

"Hello, Mr and Mrs Park." I greeted them.

"Seul. Sweetheart, you look so pretty in that dress." Mrs Park said, pinching my cheek. I smiled, thanking her.

"Have you gotten know her husband?"

"Not yet, they looked busy. It's okay, I will get to know with him later." She smacked my shoulder lightly. She suddenly raised her hands, signalling Aera to come over.

"Seulllll!!" Aera shouted. I laughed. Why is she always so extra?

"Aera, don't shout. Oh my Gosh, you're embarrassing me."

"I'm still your best friend anyway." She sassed back.

"Yeah, okay." I laughed. "Congratulations on your wedding." She pulled me in a hug. There was a prickle of tears in her eyes.

"Oh, I almost forgot." She broke the hug. "Honey, this is my best of the best friend, Seul." She introduced her husband to me. Her husband pulled out his hand to me, "I'm Ryan. Nice to meet you." And I gently grabbed his hand back, "Nice to meet you too. Please take care of Aera. She might be a brat and spoiled bitch sometimes, but please bear with it and please love her endlessly or I will come and get you." Ryan let out a soft laugh, carefully taking his hand back from me.

"Don't worry, I'm a good person." I exclaims but before I could finish my sentence, Ryan interrupts, "It's okay. I understand. Although, we just knew each other but I could tell that you're a good friend to Aera. She has been telling me about you all these times. Thank you for always looking after her." I couldn't help but to smile widely at the compliments that I just received.

I must've taken their times way longer than I should, so I decided to make my way to the dining hall. Well, I'm hungry. I haven't eaten anything except the plain bun this morning. I walked around and look at all the food items before making my selection. The grilled salmon appeals me the most, so I worked my way towards it. Later, I went to search up for a table to sit.

I found an available seat next to a random guy. I greet him with a smile before I sit. The guy next to me maintained his cold look and didn't even bother to look at me.

So cold. As if I really wanted to be here. I just let him be that way and began eating.

"There you are. I'm so tired searching up for you." Another guy appeared, plopped himself down in the chair. He sure looks out of breath, sweating too much as if he was just being chased by a dog or something. The person caught me staring. He let out a cheeky smile, and I caught a flash of his dimples. A blush rose on my cheeks. It didn't feel awkward, but exciting.

"I'm hungry, so I'm here to eat." The cold guy replied. I should've minded my own business, so I ignored both of them and continue munching my food.

"Seungwooo!" An excited voice called. I glanced over to see a red-haired girl, running towards our table. She pulled the cold guy in for a tight hug. "I'm so glad you're here!" She exclaimed, letting go of him and stepping back. "It's been so long since I've seen you!"

"I just saw you yesterday."

Wow, what a voice. I don't wanna care what he said to the girl, I just wanted to hear him speak again.

"Yeah, but you know, that was like for five seconds." She pouted.

I cleared my throat. The girl looked at me. Holy crap, she was so hyper. So, is the table cursed or what? Can they just let me eat in peace? And who is this girl? Why is she so annoying? Can someone please drag all of them out?

"Oh my Gosh! You're so annoying." The dimple guy said.

I couldn't help but to snort at that sentence. This guy has such a sharp tongue. Poor little girl.

"Shut the fuck up, Choi Byungchan!" She glared at the dimple guy. "Seungwoo, are you free today? I was thinking if you could help me with the grocery later since you do that a lot."

"I'm busy." He replied simply.

That's it? That's the only answer you could pull off? Really?

I was just about to get up from my seat as I could feel the tense in their conversation until, the girl turned to me again and smiled uncertainly. "So, are you his girlfriend?"

Wait, what?

I was too surprised with the sudden attack from her that I can't even let any words out. This girl really had me on my nerve. She's so annoying. Really? A sudden attack to me just because Seungwoo didn't give you the attention that you wanted?

"Can we be friends?" She grabbed my hand and shook it cordially.

Hold up, what has happened actually. I'm very confused with the current situation right now. I was about to speak, to deny the accusation that this girl has created, before Seungwoo suddenly grabbed my hand, holding it tightly, and walked away. I followed his steps like a lost kid. I turned to my back to meet with the girl's disappointed face. It was so red and gloomy.

God, I don't know where is this guy going to take me. I glanced around, which I believed we're finally near the hotel lobby. I stopped him.

"What are you doing? Let me go." I pulled back my hand from his grip.

Seungwoo stared at me and run his hand through his hair. He looks impossibly hot at this state. I briefly imagined what it would be like to run my hands through it.

"You should thank me. I saved you just now." He said, unbothered.

What a jerk?

"Can you please help me?" He asked.

"What?"

"Be my fake girlfriend."
