After rushing to the Tower, Nick hid in her room and paced around, brushing her hand through her hair as she was starting to have a hard time breathing. This time, she not only technically got into a fight, but she had been a part of private property of one of the biggest businesses getting destroyed. She didn't even know what was going to happen now. She didn't know how much trouble she was in - especially since she had ran, but it was because she panicked.

Her instincts had picked the flight mode that she always had, but that she hadn't ended up using in a while.

Nick began pacing around her room, brushing a hand through her hair before bringing her hands up to cover her face, trying to just get herself to breathe.

Feeling her phone vibrating though, Nick ended up pulling it out and groaned while tossing it on her bed, before she flopped on it herself while bringing her pillow up to cover her face. Harry was trying to call her after he, Ned, Peter, and even Michelle were basically spamming her with messages.

This is why she shouldn't get attached to anybody - this is why she shouldn't have friends. Because friends mean that you care about them, which means that you'll stand up for them... which for Nick, means that she'll most likely get kicked out of another school. And it's easier to move schools when she doesn't have anybody that she's leaving.

There was a scratching at her door and Nick could already tell that it was Giddy wanting to come inside, but the girl didn't move. She squeezed her eyes shut and groaned loudly into her pillow, feeling a bit embarrassed and pissed and many other things.

This was the first time that she actually cared about someone seeing her acting like that, and that was Ned and Peter, and even Mrs. Kings. She had grown up not caring about how people see her as, how people judge her. But the nice teacher that took a chance on her, and her new friends - she felt as though she had proved them wrong about taking a chance on her.

"Looks like someone's having a rough day." Natasha's voice made Nick finally move the pillow and look over, seeing that Natasha had opened the door for Giddy, who quickly ran over and jumped on the bed so that it could snuggle into the fuzzy pillow that was by Nick's headboard.

Nick closed her eyes, "You have no idea."

"Want to talk about it?" The red headed woman asked, and Nick grunted. "I may have... pushed a kid and... damaged some private property on the school field trip."

Natasha didn't say anything at first, before she walked over and sat down on the end of the bed, nudging the girl. "Did this kid deserve it?"

Nick opened her eyes again and looked up at Natasha, before she let out a breath and sat up. "He shoved me, so I shoved him harder."

"That's my girl." Natasha smiled and raised a hand, causing Nick to watch her a bit confused, before Nick let out a breathy chuckle and fist bumped her. Then Natasha added, "This can be our little secret for the time being, alright?"
