When Nick began coming back to consciousness, the first thing that hit her was the pounding headache... but then the second thing was her hands stuck above her head. The girl's eyes shot open, having to blink a couple times for the blurriness to fade away as she then quickly looked around, her heart racing in panic as she looked up, seeing that her wrists were handcuffed above her head - at a point where she couldn't even use her abilities to get free.
The girl then quickly looked around again, seeing that Tony was about two from her, hanging by his wrists as well and unconscious with a new bloody nose. But where her feet weren't even touching the ground, his toes barely were.
Hearing typing, the girl looked over and across the dingy room to see... Maya. Nick went to speak up, to ask what the hell she was doing, but it didn't take a genius to figure that Maya had been on the bad side this entire time. And that, in itself, angered Nick.
The girl, instead, clenched her jaw and looked over, trying to whisper to wake Tony up, but it didn't seem to be working so Nick grabbed at the bar her hands were handcuffed to and pulled herself up a bit so that she could swing her leg over, kicking Tony in the side.
And that did the trick. He grunted then groaned in pain, before going to move his hands, only to find he couldn't. He quickly looked up, yanking at where his wrists were zip tied, which then made Nick wander why they had just handcuffed her wrists together, but so where they were stuck with the chain over the bar.
Then she realized what they were on, which were metal bed frames, weighed down by sandbags.
Tony looked to Nick, who then nodded forwards, where Maya had turned in the chair. Tony looked at her, before looking away as Maya gives a crooked smile. "It's just like old times, huh?"
"Oh, yeah. With zip ties. It's a ball." Tony deadpanned sarcastically, looking at Maya.
Nick looked back up, realizing that they probably figured she could easily get out of the zip ties... because of her powers, because of the way the handcuffs were keeping her up, there was no way she move and create a dagger to cut it.
But then she looked back over at Maya, who shook her head. "It wasn't my idea."
"Okay. So you took Killian's card." Tony ignored her, putting together what must have happened all those years ago, but Maya corrects him. "I took his money."
"And here you are 13 years later, in a dungeon."
"No."
"Yeah." Tony looks at her, but Maya corrects him. "No, you two are in a dungeon. I'm free to go."
"Yeah?" Tony shakes his head, so Maya stands up with a sigh, her heels clicking against the stone as she walked over to them. "A lot has happened, Tony. But I'm close."
