After spending the entirety of Thursday and Friday morning with her brother - since he ended up sleeping in the guest room of her place - he then dropped her off at school before having to head back to campus. Throughout the school day, Nick's mood was still light even when Harry and Ned both had to cancel on their hangout session, but she hadn't heard Peter mention anything about it yet so she was just going to give him a chance.

On the walk by herself to the cafe, Nick had taken out her camera that Quincy had also brought with him to give to her, from Melissa and Marcel. She had taken a lot of photos from the moment he gave it to her, and now she was snapping a few photos of the city.

Eventually she was already sitting down at the usual table that they had and was taking a few pictures of the cafe - while smiling because with everything going on, she had forgotten how much she used to love to take pictures.

But after getting a message from Peter saying that he wasn't going to make it, the girl tried to ignore how bummed she was as she then began to gather up her things... but stopped when she saw someone familiar sitting in the corner of the other side of the cafe. She couldn't help a small smile as she brought her stuff over and sat across from Wyatt Bishop, who had his headphones on and was working on schoolwork.

Except, he was forced to look up when someone sat across from him, and his eyes widened a bit as he quickly took off his headphones. "Nick?"

"Long time no see." Nick smiled at him as she brushed a hand through her hair, before she placed her camera on her lap, as Wyatt couldn't help but smile as he nodded. "Yep. Last I saw you, you had just gotten expelled."

Nick slowly nodded with a slight grimace, "Well, luckily, that was my last time... for now, at least." She then smiled and nodded at him, "I see you don't have black hair anymore."

Wyatt nodded, as he closed his text book. "Yeah, thought it'd be better to just go back to brown and not stick out as much."

"Normal is boring though." Nick leaned on the table, but Wyatt just shrugged as he gave her a smile. "Well, maybe so, but now I don't have my guardian angel to defend me."

"I promise you, I'm nothing close to an angel." Nick couldn't help but scoff, and Wyatt just shrugged. "Kept me from getting beaten up a lot, so I don't care if you are or aren't one."

Nick slowly nodded, before actually getting curious about something. "Did... Uh, how's Mark doing?"

"You didn't hear?" Wyatt furrowed his eyebrows as he looked at her, and when Nick shook her head, he shrugged. "After what happened in Sokovia, his parents put him back into the system because they couldn't afford to take care of a troublemaking kid."

"He's back in the foster system?" Nick actually seemed concerned, which confused Wyatt. "It's not like it affects us. He's still a dick. Just... now he's more of a...getting suspended every other week kind."
