"Hey, May." Peter Parker walked into his apartment, headphones in as he headed to the kitchen. "Nick got detention at school so it'll be just be us for dinner."

"Did you even try to ask if Nick could make it?" May asked from the living room, knowing the definite crush he had on the girl, and Peter reached into the fridge. "I didn't get the chance too, no."

"I figured." May chuckled with a glance to their guest, whom Peter hadn't noticed yet, before she looked back over the couch. "How was school today?"

"It was okay." Peter shrugged, before he set his juice on the counter and turned around to talk to his aunt. "This crazy car parked outside..."

Peter trailed off as he finally saw their guest, and May leaned on the back of the couch with a smile, as Tony Stark put down his bread. "Oh, Mr. Parker."

"Um.." Peter finally managed to form words, as he stepped forward, taking his headphones out. "What- what are you doing..." He stammers, before smiling and crossing his arms. "Hey! Uh, I'm- I'm- I'm Peter."

He dropped his arms, nervously not knowing what to do with them, as the man nodded with a slight gestured towards himself. "Tony."

Peter still was awestruck as he shook his head while smiling. "What are - What are you - What are you- What are you doing here?"

"It's about time we met. You've been getting my emails, right?" Tony spoke to the boy, winking with his not bruised eye as an attempt to get Peter to play along. While May was looking to her nephew, kind of freaking out.

"Yeah, yeah." Peter tried to play along. "Regarding the..."

"You didn't even tell me about the grant." Aunt May gave him a look, and Peter tilted his head a bit. "It's about the grant..."

"The September foundation." Tony said, and Peter nodded, still confused. "Right."

"Yeah. Remember when you applied?" The older man spoke, and Peter gave a small nod - not knowing still. "Yeah."

"I approved, so now we're in business." Tony smiled and nodded, as May shook her head, giving her nephew a look. "You didn't tell me anything. What's up with that? You keeping secrets from me now?"

"Why, I just- I just- I just know how much you love surprises, so I thought I would let you know... with-" Peter looked back at Tony, "Anyway, what did I apply for?"

"That's what I'm here to hash out." Tony responded with, and Peter nodded. "Okay. Hash- hash it out, okay."

"It's so hard for me to believe she's someone's aunt." Tony grinned, and May chuckled. "Yeah, well, we come in all shapes and sizes, you know?"

Tony looked to her with a smile, lifting up the food in his hand. "This walnut date loaf is exceptional."

"Let me stop you right there." Peter spoke, and Tony raised an eyebrow. "Yeah?"
