The first thing that hit Nick was the sudden freezing cold that wrapped around her like a blanket, and when she shot awake, the girl gasped and coughed as she looked around, arms wrapped around herself. It was dark out... and she seemed to be in the middle of the woods, while it was snowing.

By the fact that her clothes and hair were pretty dry, she assumed that she had been out for a while. But then her eyes landed on hole through the trees that would be what she assumed it would look like if the Iron Man suit dropped her in the snow before it went crashing.

Nick, despite the pain in her left leg, quickly got to her feet and sprinted through the trees. Her shoulder was a little sore, but it wasn't as bad as some of the other injuries she could feel. Her hair stuck to her neck and side of her face as other pieces seemed to already be frozen, but she didn't care when she spotted the Iron Man face down in the snow, the suit definitely looking like crap. "Dad!" She ran over to him, dropping to her bare knees in the freezing snow as she used both hands to push him over and onto his back.

She could hear Tony breathing heavily inside as he then reached up and yanked the mask off his helmet, looking up at her before his eyes moved passed her and up at the sky. "It's snowing, right? Where are we, upstate?"

"We are five miles outside of Rose Hill, Tennessee

"We are five miles outside of Rose Hill, Tennessee." JARVIS said, causing Nick's eyes to widen as she sat back, groaning because she really didn't want to be there. Tony's eyes were wide as well as he demanded, "Why?! JARVIS, not my idea. What are we doing here? This is thousands of miles away! I gotta get Pepper! I gotta..."

"I prepared a flight plan. This was the location."

"Who asked you?" Tony exclaimed, causing Nick to look around them, remembering back before they were attacked. "You did and I just wanted to stay home." Then she groaned, looking down at the letterman jacket that was still wrapped around her waist. "And I was supposed to go to a football game."

"Open the suit." Tony told JARVIS, but then crackling noises sounded. "I think I may be malfunctioning, sir." The British voice going static, causing Tony to repeat. "Open it, J."
