"All our work is gone." Banner shook his head, all of them now in the lab.

Nick was stood by the door, near where Steve was, as she had her arms wrapped around herself. She was beyond frustrated and still a little shaky from the window incident. Her dark hair was now in messy curls, no longer partly pinned, and she had her arms crossed over her chest - and her heels were now on her desk because she didn't want to put them back on after everything.

She was still in her dress with the same worn out leather jacket wrapped around herself from when she was 10 because she still hadn't given it back to Tony.

She hadn't had a chance to check over the bruises or scratches that she definitely had now - including her scraped up knees, which she was annoyed with because her poor knees already had scars on them from how often they were injured.

Giddy was also with them, once again by her leg with it's tail wrapped around her ankle, definitely seeming more like a puppy each time Nick was with it.

"Ultron cleared out. He used the internet as an escape hatch." Bruce continued, and Steve, who looked pissed and was leaning against a desk, shook his head. "Ultron."

"He's been in everything. Files, surveillance. Probably knows more about us than we know about each other." Natasha turns around, wearing comfier clothes and a sweater, which Nick also hadn't been able to go do, but she had left the leather jacket by her work station which is why she was wearing it now.

"He's in your files, he's in the internet. What if he decides to access something a little more exciting?" Rhodes speaks up, holding his right shoulder since he was banged up a bit from his fall, and Maria looked up at him. "Nuclear codes."

"Nuclear codes." Rhodes nods as he paced across the floor and looked over at Tony, who was just standing in the corner, leaning against a table that they had ultron's remains on. "Look, we need to make some calls, assuming we still can."

"Nukes?" Natasha speaks up, "He said he wanted us dead."

"He didn't say dead." Nick spoke up for the first time in an hour, "He said extinct."

"He also said he killed somebody." Clint stepped forward, but Maria looked up. "There wasn't anyone else in the building."

Tony finally walked away from his spot and moved over to a clearer part of the room. "Yes, there was." Then he clicked a button and JARVIS's mainframe showed up, causing Nick's heart dropping as she stepped forward to stand on the other side of the projection. "Oh my god."

"What?" Bruce walked over, looking down at the mess as Tony stepped to the side. Bruce shook his head, "This is insane."

"JARVIS was the first line of defense." Steve spoke up, "He would have shut Ultron down. It makes sense."
