The 7 hour flight had eventually landed in Malibu, landing at night on Tony Stark's private airstrip. And when the plane had stopped moving, Tony moved and tried waking up the little girl... but she wasn't waking up. His forehead creased in worry as a frown took over his lips, he shook her shoulder again. "Nick? Hey, Nick, can you hear me?"

His next thing he did was to check her pulse, and when he had, he should have been relieved that there was a heartbeat, but he wasn't when he realized how fast her heart was beating. He quickly looked over the girl, before kneeling down in front of her and placing his hands on either side of her face, "Nick, look at me. Come on, wake up." But she didn't.

Tony was beginning to panic, but then his eyes landed on the light bandage on her forehead, which had blood seeping through it... and just because of how many times he had looked at those photos, he realized that she must have gotten injured in the same spot as her injury from five years ago. The man quickly picked the girl up and rushed her outside to the waiting car, but as he got into the vehicle, he told Happy to speed to the hospital.

When they rushed to the hospital and Tony had carried the little girl inside the emergency room, he was panicking, trying to explain the conditions of what happened (which he didn't even know fully because he didn't know how long she had had the apparent concussion, but he did tell the doctors her history), which caused one of the doctors to quickly take her from his arms and rush her over to a gurney.

Tony was then told to stay back as the doctor and nurses began quickly checking over the girl; looking at her vitals, pupils, then her visible injuries, before they then had to lift up her shirt, seeing that bad bandaged job. And as Tony watched them have to undo the bandage, the billionaire's hand actually went to his mouth, her entire torso a bluish-purple color (which had been what happened when two broken ribs didn't go checked).

They then rushed her out of the emergency room and to go get a CAT scan to see how bad her head injury was, and that also meant that one of the nurses had to stay back and tell Tony that he needed to go to the waiting room and fill out a chart, which included filling out an incident report about what happened.

It had been about 24 hours later when Tony was finally able to see her and be updated completely on what had happened, which was that there had been blood built up in her head after blunt force trauma had hit a weaker part of her skull and scar tissue from five years ago. Her other injuries had also been fixed, which did mean that she should be out for another couple hours to a couple days as they slowly take her off certain medications.

But then they told him that in situations like these, it wasn't always a guarantee that the person would wake up after a brain injury like that, which had included swelling in the brain and other things that they had to fix. And that did mean that there was now a stitched up cut across the side of her forehead, that was just below the scar from before.
