It was late by the time Nick had gotten home to the mansion since she had the cab stop at Burger King so that she could get dinner (and she got him one too), which actually made him nice enough to drive her farther than she was able to pay, which let him drop her off at the end of the driveway.

But when the 10-year-old, who just wanted to go to bed, walked up to the mansion... she was met by a loud party going on. And she guessed that this was Tony's birthday party, but it was already really late.

The long driveway was packed with cars, and as Nick got up to the house... she already knew this was gonna end badly.

The loud music was enough to make her cringe and as she walked up to the house, an usher stopped her. "Sorry, kid, no Girl Scouts."

"I'm not-" She began offended, but then Rhodey was next to her, telling him. "She's with me."

"What is going on?" Nick asked as she and Rhodey walked inside, the man looking around and shaking his head. But then the two walked up to the familiar strawberry blonde, "Hey, Pepper."

"I'm- I'm gonna go get some air." Pepper turned to them about to leave, but then the two gave her confused looks, as Rhodey asked. "What's wrong?"

"Oh my god." Nick had walked around the adults, her jaw dropping as the other two moved to stand beside her, all watching Tony on the makeshift stage in his Iron Man suit and drunk.

"I don't know what to do." Pepper said shaking her head, and Rhodey's expression dropped. "You gotta be kidding me."

Tony then stumbles and falls off the stage drunk, Nick's nose scrunching up in disgust

Tony then stumbles and falls off the stage drunk, Nick's nose scrunching up in disgust. "I shouldn't even be allowed to see this."

Tony gets back up laughing as the crowd cheers.

"That's it, I'm making the call-" Rhodey began but Pepper quickly stops him. "No, no. Don't call anyone."

"Pepper, this is ridiculous. I just stuck my neck out for this guy." Rhodey exclaims while pointing at him in frustration, Pepper nodding. "I know. I know. I get it. I'm gonna handle it, okay? Just let me handle it."
