After Tony used the Mark 42 suit to save everyone from the crashing the Air Force One plane, controlling it from the boat, and managing to do it with the weirdest version of Barrel of Monkeys and having them all land safely in the water, the suit was then destroyed by a huge semi truck.
Tony sighed, "Phew. That came out of nowhere. Wow."
Nick watched him with an amused look before shaking her head, "Aren't you glad I said you should just control it from here?"
"Yes, thank you." He nodded as Rhodes opened the door, "Give me some good news, man."
"I think they all made it." Tony said, turning back towards Rhodes, who let out a breath of relief. "Oh thank god."
"Yeah, but I missed the president." Tony adds, and Rhodes stands up. "You couldn't save the president with the suit, how are we gonna save Pepper with nothing?"
"Yeah, and I'm tapped out with my powers." Nick adds, looking at Tony. "And we can't exactly stop at a hardware store this time."
Tony looked at her, before turning away, speaking into the high tech headset. "Uh... Say, JARVIS, is it that time?"
"The House Party Protocol, sir?"
"Correct." Tony nods, and Nick gave him a look. "The what Protocol?"
Tony turns back towards her with a slight grin, "Don't worry. You'll love it."
Nick raised an eyebrow, "Will I?"

"Oh wow, I... really don't like this." Nick said when she looked at the two ships in the water connected together by cranes and big machinery, the night sky making this seem so much worse. They had just parked the boat on one of the less guarded sides, and when Nick went to step out with the other two, Tony stopped her. "Ha. No. You're staying here."
Nick gave him a look, "Wouldn't it be better if I were with you? What if someone finds the boat and me?"
He clenched his jaw before glancing to Rhodes, who shrugged, then Tony looked back at her. "Fine. But you stick by my side, got it?"
She quickly nodded and they moved over to the rusty metal ladder, climbing it quietly and carefully when they heard workers shouting, and working. When they were onboard, Rhodes takes out his gun and Nick stays between him and Tony, both men already planning on not letting her out of their sight.
When they ducked behind an orange machine, Nick then pulled the gun out from where it had been hidden under her jacket, and whispered while glancing to Tony. "I thought this might come in handy."
Tony gave her a surprised look, before nodding and taking it, while Rhodes then glanced at him. "You're not gonna freak out on me, right?"
"I hope not." Tony answered honestly, before they then moved more onto the ship, heading towards the giant crane like machines, which were painted a dark blue. They ducked behind some barrels before checking every way, then they hopped onto the part of the deck that was like a foot higher than the rest.
