Nick swore that her heart stopped as she got launched into the air and flung backwards at the explosion, but when she looked over, she saw Jack and she could barely see Tony aiming his arms towards Pepper, which made the Mark 42 suit go to her. The girl was terrified at this moment, but she was glad to see Pepper would be okay, but then she looked at Jack and she felt a little guilty since he wouldn't be there if it weren't for her.

She didn't even think when she suddenly aimed her hands towards him, the white light forming in her palms and decorating her veins as her eyes glowed a blue and suddenly this almost blue tinted white light forcefield surrounded the boy before he crashed into the wall of glass... which made it so he was practically unharmed when he hit the wall and didn't go through it, besides a few scrapes and bruises from debris.

But then Nick hit the wall hard, blacking out from impact, so she didn't feel when she hit the ground.

The girl's ears rang when the wind was knocked out of her, causing her to gasp a bit, coughing as she covered her head and rolled out of the way of debris. Nick didn't hear Tony calling her name as he grunted, getting up, but she did feel when Jack was next to her. The boy had a scrape on his cheek and could feel a couple bruising sore spots, but he didn't understand why he wasn't really affected.

Nick, on the other hand, had scraped up and bloody knees and legs, and arms. She already had smudges of dirt on her skin, and she could feel the definite head injury on the back of her head that was causing her vision to blur a bit.

"Nick? Ace, can you hear me?" Jack was asking as he helped her sit up, watching as she was blinking rapidly, as though she couldn't see anything, but she could. The girl was more focused on trying to look through the dust filled room to spot Tony, Pepper, or even Maya.

"Nick!" Tony's voice was what she heard first, causing the girl to grunt as she got up, gripping Jack's arm to help her stay up. She couldn't even see the front of the house. "Tony, we're over here!"

When the kids finally were standing, they could see passed the thicker dust, meaning they could see where suited up Pepper was, and where knocked out Maya was, but once they saw where Tony was, Nick would have ran forward if she could when she saw the cracking and crumbling ceiling. "Watch out!"

Tony looked up at the ceiling, but before it fell down and crushed him, Pepper was suddenly there, covering him. The mask of the suit moves, showing her face as she looks down at him. "I got you."
