When Nick woke up this time, she sat up and looked around the room before looking at the clock, seeing that she had slept in til 3 pm. The girl groaned as she fell back against the bed and turned onto her side to look out the windows, the sun shining brightly on her.
She was upset, to say the least. Her feet and knee hurt, her limbs ached, and she had a headache. She also hadn't actually eaten in 24 hours, but she still didn't really have an appetite, knowing what was the probability of her plan actually working out now. The girl sat up again, enough to grab the remote before she clicked the button that closed the curtains, allowing her to toss the remote away from her, and letting her lay back down while pulling the blankets over her head as she closed her eyes.
But after a couple minutes of not being able to fall back asleep, Nick flipped the covers off of her as she let out a loud groan, before reaching for the remote again. She then pressed the button to open the curtains and after finally seeing outside, the girl's eyebrows pulled together as she got to her feet carefully, limping over as the window opened, allowing her to go out onto the balcony... and the rain drops hit her.
It was really sunny outside, but there was a small cloud about to pass over them, and apparently that cloud was raining. The rain actually made the girl smile as she stepped to the edge of the balcony, holding the railing as she looked down at the ocean.
"You know, with you're luck, you're either gonna fall off that thing, or you're gonna catch a cold." Tony's voice made the girl turn around, and Nick shrugged, before going back into the room and limping back over to the bed, her feet definitely feeling the aftermath. Tony watched her walk, just making sure she was okay, before he then walked into the room and sat down on one of the two chairs in front of the bed. "How are you feeling?"
Nick watched him sit down, as she pulled her hair out of the very loose ponytail from the night before, and brushed a hand through her hair. "Fine," She shrugged.
"Good. Because there's someone here who has been bugging me to meet you." Tony sat back in the chair, "But at least he brought food. Come on in, Rhodey!"
A pretty tall, dark skinned man walked in with three bags of Burger King and gave the girl one of the bags before sitting in the chair next to Tony, handing him another. "It's nice to meet you, Dawn."
Chuckling nervously at the name, Nick scooted across the large bed so that she was closer to them. "It's, uh, nice to meet you too, I guess. Thanks for the food."
The guys shared a look, Rhodey already seeing some similarities at least image wise, and Tony was just annoyed with how much he had been bugging him. "So, you got to sleep in today?" Tony looked up to Nick, who was taking her food out. "Uh, yeah. First time in a while too, because of school."
"Right, you've got school." Tony nodded with his eyebrows furrowed together, "Shouldn't you be going to that? I mean, can't you like get into trouble if you don't?"
